  1. Also hi, I'm still very much alive. Currently Community Director of my own project - online gaming community /w about 2000 members / 300 active member core in a different game and atmosphere devoid of the degeneracy I was exposed to in the past. I miss my writing days - look what they've done to my boy shamanism lel. Also I'm 24 now, can't believe I got here when I was but 18. Also buy doge.
  2. @DarkSainthoodgood work on finally getting it through – though I will request some credit here.
  3. Quarantine times hittin’ hard (Not). Playing games all day, simple daily obligations, weekly therapy sessions on the phone and school deadlines way in juli. Not bad! Unfortunately the loregames aren’t permitting any shaman constructs or creatures anymore ;=; sad
  4. So I guess I’m 23 now, don’t feel any different – in my opinion it’s been highly overrated. Ask me Anything FAQ: “Why don’t you play a lot anymore?” I need a VPN to log onto the server without being kicked every 10 seconds, and my free VPN is out of bandwith rn. Also, 50% of my characters are in loregame limbo, meaning their magical ability is highly limited and the magic plays a significant role to my enjoyment of those characters and I cannot fully rp them without it. “Teach me shamanism?” No. “What’re you up to during quarantine?” Smoking a shitton of weed, endulging in some quality planetside 2 grinding (Reached battlerank 100, unlocked ASP, now Battlerank 40 again)
  5. A shaman warlock reads over the challenge, triggered by the usage of termage of ‘plague’, he disregards the challenge and throws the paper into his fireplace “Too eazeh” he proclaims with a chuckle. “Dah yun’lingz kan hav der turn on diz ash.”
  6. Being perpetually kicked from the server and ongoing loregames without much clarification of the state lore is in makes the game technically and persona-relatedly unplayable for me.

  7. In lands afar, overseeing the vast mesa plains of Arkas, a vulture circles its way downard onto the surface where a shaman sits – brooding. Murmuring a chant to himself. “Afar’Ilzgul, Lup’Ilzgul. Zark’Slaium agh Uzg Nurmaturz, Elvirah Naromiz – Ilzgul uv Gat’lur”
  8. “If they rebuild the same arena as San’Thraka, then they’ve truly outdone themselves when it comes to forcibly re-inacting the orcish golden age of Vailor.” A distant elderly figure mumbles.
  9. More clarity regarding the Safety Team will be provided soon. Please do respect the effort of volunteering individuals with good intentions for the community overall. Though you might disagree with the proposed method – it is not as many of you perceive it to be, thus an update might clarify a thing or two. Please stay tuned.

  10. Shagarath muses “Ahn intureztin’ philozopheh... eigh muzt meet wif diz gahk ayed feller zome tik.”. The elder warlock then turns his eye to the night sky and reads the stars as he smokes his pipe.
  11. We’ve had our IC strife back in the olden days. I have mocked you among those that did but as of late, during the past or so year, I have had a change of heart and opinion on you and if you didn’t know that by now, here it is. I wish you the best in life, sincerely.

  13. Been there since launch, among other interesting builds. Likely nothing usefulness to them as they serve an aesthetic purpose
  14. formatting is a bit eh, furthermore seems legit
  15. The loregames force narrative of roleplay to non magical, which is indeed an issue for magical groups. And there can be other reasons but they need to make sense. The issue here is that it’s a global thing that EVERY teacher has to deal with. It’s a bit odd if there come 100 ways of teachers saying that all of a sudden they lost connection or an old sports injury is hindering them from teaching. It would’ve made more sense, as this is a global happening, for a global reason irp to exist that would at least give characters a way to define and give reason to this phenomenon.
  16. I can go on a limb and write a thousand word thesis on this but instead I will bullet list my concerns and issues with the loregames as they are going on. - No public updates on loremags or progression in quite some time, even though lore keeps getting cut or shelfed. - Major infraction on character progression and roleplay in general – Major infraction on teaching of magic as all is blocked – the same done to creation roleplay of magical items as LT signatures for artificery magics are disallowed - No reason in roleplay given to at least mend this, forcing players to resort to in character skygod references as a reason for why something cannot be done - The Shaman rewrite has been effectively taken out of player hands. I’m only aware of this one but there might be other magics where player / magic user involvement in rewriting is effectively nullified Please civilly discuss this and mayhaps offer solutions? Haven’t heard anything from flambo either in a while, leaving many with questions of who’s in control of the loregames and what the line of progression is.
  17. I should write lore on sterling engines
  18. Dlunar Irongrinder curses as he tosses the writ into his campfire “A nae recall aneh of this ‘appenin’ – All be seen on teh field of battle be a surprise invisible blizzard tha’ froze us by our feet. Lyrian scum ‘nd allied forces alike.”
  19. Props to our man @Silverstatik for trying to manage this all. You did well bud, considering the circumstances.

  21. Name of the creature: Submission for Sprites & Sprouts (Optional) Link to a picture of the creature + name of the artist: Is this creature tamable and if so, how: No. They are sentient and can befriend or acquaint but not be tamed. Can you use this in combat: No. Habitats - Check all that apply: Jungle Caves/Caverns Forest Summary of the creature: Appearance -Sprites and Sprouts stand about 5-7 inches with Elf-like features. Where Sprites have translucent wings sprouting from their backs, the Sprouts have the top of their mushroom like being as sort of a hat. -Sprites and Sprouts are genderless, but do take on masculine and feminine appearances, oftentimes being referred as male or female. -Sprites and Sprouts clothe themselves in flower petals and any soft, pliable forest-growths they can find. -Sprites and Sprouts speak an odd tongue (Fae Tongue) that can be learned but is quite difficult for Descendant minds to understand. They also have Natures Communion as a basic foundation of their being by default. As they are both Flora and Fauna. Part of Nature. Color The color of the sprite or sprout determines almost exactly some of the mannerisms of the creature, similar to how a mage’s aura is defined by their own personality. There is no definite reason as to how, or why they are born as these particular colors however, it is simply a random factor. Acerfolia & Modnar The Acerfolia is a small flower with a large oval shaped bud and triangular leaves. It grows five inches from the ground, and is the birthplace of all Sprites. The Modnar is the name given to the spore that produces the Sprouts, little is known about them as they are but tiny and most of its development is under ground. They can only be found in fae rings. When a sprite dies, another flower will sprout in the nearest fae ring. Characteristics of the creature: In life, these little creatures thrive in areas of great nature. Here they live outside of the dense cityscapes and in the wide range of nature. They run about from area to area, communing with the nature – they can often be seen as the messengers of the trees and keepers of the forest. Due to their small size and high fragility – they are often scared of descendant folk and will tend to hide from them. The druids are an exception to this rule as they are seen as allies of the forest and thusly accepted and even approached. With luck one can one day see such a small creature and converse with it – for what wisdom can such a forest dweller hold? (Optional) Origins of the creature: Birthing At first, ‘twas but a mystery how these small creatures came to be. Cerridwen's breath or perhaps even the Creator being connected with their cute and mischievous appearance. It was only until recently that an unnamed druid found themselves wandering the grand woods of axios, where they witnessed the spectacle of its birthing. For… in a corner of the forest they found a Fae circle, and here a small flower grew out to be the birthplace of a sprite. Much marvelled the druid set up camp nearby, and observed as more and more of these little flowers grew and each of them produced these small faeries of various colors. However, not only did this fae circle bring forth the sprites that now inhabited the forest, it too produced creatures akin to them, dwelling the floor of the woods: Sprouts. The name given to them by the same observing druid, as they found out that mushrooms of the most odd and too: colorful kinds grew out to be… living! Akin to the Sprites that flew about, these Sprouts dwelled in the shadows of the undergrowth. Acting in utmost care not to be sighted by predators. The druid, having stayed most of its time in these woods, sought to leave… though was curious of one thing. Before it left the woods for good, to bring out word of this fantastic discovery, meditated in front of the fae ring. After time, they blessed the soil of it… and what grew out to be… lived. The Druid found themselves capable of aiding the Aspects in their work of creating this Fauna, and speed up the process of its birthing. For growing the flower felt akin to that of bestowing the aspects gift onto seeds as the druii usually do. And thus as swift as that, the flowers and mushrooms grew exponentially faster than the natural process. Producing equally as good Sprites and Sprouts. Strengths/Weaknesses + Have Natures Communion by Default. (Can commune with nature as they are part of it) + Despite their mischievous and often dull appearances, they are considerably intelligent. + Sprites may fly, but no higher than that of an Olog (Three Blocks), as they would exert too much energy whilst attempting to fight back against gravity. Due to using too much energy they would need a surface to rest on before taking flight once again. + Sprouts may seems small, but move rapidly through forest undergrowth. They are difficult to catch. - They may not learn magic due to their natural origin. - Sprites and Sprouts can not wield the weapons of the Descendants, as they are much too small. - Due to their small bodies, and overall weakness, they are easy to take hold of and imprison. -Not many of these creatures exist, If one was to destroy the faering during the development or destroy the tree around the ring. Before the Sprite or Sprout is born, it will die. - Injuring the wings of a sprite can be potentially fatal, as the sprites main blood vessels are located there. Theirs wings are of the same material as their body, of plant. The same counts for the mushroom heads of Sprouts. -Magic is super effective towards the sprites and sprouts alike, and can kill them quickly due to their connection to nature. - They can learn the Common tongue but it would be difficult due to their poor attention spans. - Sprites and Sprouts, when consumed are practically toxic, as after death they are reduced to a fine, gray ash. This metaphorical pixie dust will not grant any flight, but instead will lead to an extremely quick and painful death. Red Lines - They may not be domesticated, as they are entirely sentient beings, not animals. - Sprites and Sprouts can only thrive in areas filled with natural life, such as forests. Deserts and tainted areas are practically deadly. - They are incapable of learning any form of magic, however they may communicate with Flora and Fauna.(They get this by default). - they can only live in a flora rich environment. Entering cities is not a problem, as long as their stay is short. Availability: Common - Anyone can RP finding this creature. [Credit given to Zero for the original lore and myself for the Sprout addition. It would be a shame that these creatures will be lost due to CA cuts and thus I reintroduce them as a general creature that one can find and interact with through an ET or even on one’s own.]
  22. Dlunar sits in the high tower of his keep, reading over the news of the day. Quickly he writes word to the druid grove with two single words. ”Need shields?”
