  1. Wights are the final forms of Mystics. That would be overpowered for a simple armoured spectre. This re-write gives Gravens their own little flavour. Corporeals are big and bulky and are bound to servitude in a task established by their creator/mystic. Semi-corporeal are not bound to serviture, instead bound to the task they were commited to when they lived. Spectrals, since they are stronger, require 2 mystics to be created and are normally given to big individuals with bigger minds the ability to live longer on a task established by their creator. They have access to magic in exchange of more frail forms. I don't know about you, but I don't only thing it's a rather well-balanced, fair re-write but a new height graven players can aspire to go. If you want the sort-of ascending through ranks stuff ghouls have, it's no worry to add the option for Semi-Corporeals to receive some sort of 'ordainment', where they complete something specific given by their creator and, again, their creator chooses what they will become: Spectral or Corporeal. It's a WIP after all, any criticism is welcome, so long as it's constructive.
  2. Yea, and you get killed by everything. If someone throws a literal silver spoon at you, you die, because of how weak gravens are. They lost their only ability (graven's stare) and they need some love. Gravens shouldn't be free-to-make, because they have potential. Ghosts I understand, they're everyday spectres. Beings that can take the form of suits of armor shouldn't be as undepowered as they are. Note: I did not remove the tasks. Each graven still has it's task, regardless of the subtype. Spectrals have tasks as well as Semi-Corporeals.
  3. Gravens. -=- (Above is the link to the doc, what's in there is in the spoiler)
  4. @WuHanXianShi14 Why you worried about that if Dominion has an endless cooldown, as always?????????
  5. Orok'Raguk THUNDERS for the return of the TRUE REX from the Stargush'Stroh
  6. Did you read the edited ammendment? I'm guessing not.
  7. Enjoy themselves by working hard up the ranks to get ordainment. Be a good servant to ascend and create more like those. The point of ghouldom is for you to grow stronger, until your master sees fit to reward you, that reward being ordainment. You can't expect to simply fly straight up the ranks.
  8. Exactly the point of this ammendment. Why would rotting, decaying corpses in a starve for lifeforce have time to even think about trying have feelings?
  9. Ratko, a certain morghuul soon-to-be Darkstalker frowns as he sees the signature on the parchment. "But... Bloodhammer... Is... necromancer?"
  10. But all of them are way better than ghouls and such is stated in their lore. THEIR LORE allows people to be the way they play those creatures GHOUL LORE doesn't, and people like you seem to be forgetting that and RP ghouls with feelings.
  11. Maybe if this one is taken in well and is accepted I'll put up one regardind that.
  12. I could include that, but idk. Just felt like the whole intelligent ghouls thing was a more pressing matter.
  13. How can you compare a paleknight (final form of a ghost), an atronach (arcanic construct MADE to be good) and a golem (made to be powerful) to a shambling, rotten corpse? Ghouls aren't meant to be free. They are meant to be bound by their eternal hunger and hunt for life force. Ghouls and Morghuuls are the same thing, by the way, MOrghuul are just more sentient, but still lack a personality or common sense. So get off your high boots.
  14. Ammendment: Plain and simple. Ghouls and Morghuuls are not intelligent, strategical warhulks that can beast through waves of enemies. They are resistant flesh shields made to serve their necromancer with mindless eating and fearless in combat. Seeing ghouls able to pull out strategic moves, including myself, meks me cringe, considering current lore states otherwise. So what this proposes, is that we should make Ghouls essentialy smaller less strong ologs, with limited mental capability, but prowess in combat, due to their high resistance to normal attacks (that aren’t aurum) and their lack of emotions, such as fear. The amount of intelligence a ghoul receives is interly up to the necromancer, though said is limited as to what it can grant the shambler. Nothing past basic strategies (dodging) or anything past common sense (social skills, emotions) is strictly limited. Also for this ammendment, remove the whole 'ghouls reform' thing and set it so that their necromancers need to revive them should they die. Until then, the ghoul mustn't be played, as it is 'dead', awaiting for it's master to revive. If the necromancer fails to revive the ghoul in time, say, 1 irl week, the ghoul is deemed dead, and a new CA will need to be posted in order for the ghoul to be revived and able to be played again.

  18. A wizened orc leaves his application ((OneGhoulyBoi | One Ghouly Boi#9205))
