    what's a CA or magic you've always wanted to see on lotc? 

     

    for me it's probably fairies, but not like the small tinkerbell ones, like 1980's david bowie labyrinth fae. always been really into the idea of the dark fantasy, not necessarily good, not necessarily evil, deceptive trickster fae that look like regular people but just a bit mystical and whimsy

      there is so much space for more nature magic and different avenues to travel but it all ends up being either denied, rolled into druidism, or made into a druidism add-on.

      i also find druid players tend to be in general too objectively good for my taste. nature is fucked up and evil all the time, and there's not really any way to show that. we should have literal cave men primalist terrorists.

      I second your choice of more humanoid faeries. I think there would be a lot of potential for very cool roleplay and culture surrounding that sort of CA, with alot of inspiration to draw from both real world folklore and obviously mediums like DnD.

      I'd say maybe the second would be some sort of mermaid-esque race, but I understand why that might be something more difficult. We don't currently have any way to roleplay underwater without pex (as far as I'm aware).
