Dead bodies of women, and slaughtered men lay shamelessly on the ground, their throats severed, and a stench of charred wood, rotten bodies, and alcohol celebrating their plunder. MAGYARS The spring in Buda had been blessed by the Gods, there is not doubt of that. The harvest had been healthy, and diseases in the herds have been low. A young man, with long flowing blonde hair and many marks on his face and neck, gallops into the bustling city square. The square is a large open area, with hundreds selling the fruits of their labor to other visitors, and tribals. It is surrounded old, visibly corroded stone buildings, the only ones in a hospitable condition in the center of the political capitol of the Magyar Tribal conglomeration, the rest live in various fur tents all converging on it. The man quickly jumped off the horse, and handed its reins to a nearby stable boy, walking briskly to the largest building in the capitol. The guards, seemingly knowing who he is, let him pass and they paid no mind to the man. After winding upwards through a long series of stairs, passing through halls of drunk soldiers singing and shamans practicing their arts and incantations, he arrives to the top of the building, and bursts through worn down oak doors to see a bare chested tattooed brown haired man, with long flowing hair, naked on a bed with around 5-7 other women all laying on top of him. Only the top half of his body is visible, the rest is covered by an assortment of bedsheets, legs, arms, and entire bodies. The visitor opens his mouth to say something but quickly closes it. The man on the bed, smiles, sitting up to see who it is. The women do so as well, giggling and caressing the man in the middle. "What is it, Botond, have you never seen a naked woman before?" The women would laugh with him, as Botond remains silent, simply blushing. "Chief Laszlo, I came to tell you that the Chieftains have requested a convening of the tribes to discuss the planned conquest of the Carpathians." Botond would struggle to sound out the words, avoiding his gaze from the eyes of the Chief, or the women with him. "Thank you, Botond. You will tell them that I agree to it... Later. As you can see the Gods have preoccupied me greatly currently." Hed say, looking around him, motioning to his surroundings. "Y-Yes of course I understand. I... I will inform the Chiefs." He would begin to turn and walk away before the chief would stop him, laughing, "Botond, how many wives have the Gods blessed you with so far?" Botond would turn around, and solemnly reply, "None", still not making eye contact with anything other then the creaky wooden slabs that made up the floors. It is hoped that the Kaisers words can create a mass exodus of Germans that have settled in the united states in the 19th century to return to their country of origin, their fatherland. Those who choose to return and pass the credentials are given the opportunity to choose a government assigned house in a city, or a plot of land in the east near poland, where they can live in relative peace and start their lives over in Germany. A high sense of militarization is introduced in German cities. Platoons are often seen Goose Walking around Government buildings, especially near places with a high polish or Czech Minority. E S P A Ñ A The Spanish Empire, while not retaining its former glory which it achieved under the Hapsburgs, still remains a potent player in European Affairs, with a vast and rich array of colonies abroad in the New World and Asia. The Spanish Maritime Empire consists of various lands all rich in minerals, furs, and other wealths. This resulted in Spanish Ships being a dominating force in the seas, however the same cannot be said in Europe. Spanish Dominance over Europe ended in the beginning of the 18th century when the inbred Charles II died, initiating a Succession war in the Spanish Empire over who would assume the throne. The result of the war was the Treaty of Utrecht, in which the Spanish Empire was separated with its European territories, with the lands of Sardinia, Naples, Sicily, Parma, The Netherlands, and Milan to Austria and Sicily, and Gibraltar and Menorca to Great Britain. The most important change was that Phillip of Bourbon, Grandson of the King of France, assumed the throne as King of Spain, and steered the country in a different direction then his Hapsburg Predeccessors, initiating a series of reforms to model the Spanish Nation on the French Kingdom. However, in the Austrian War of Succession, Spain engaged in a long colonial war with Britain in the New World and in various theatres in the Medditeranean, which resulted in the transfer of the Kingdoms of Naples and Sicily back to the Spanish Bourbons. All in all, the Spanish Empire is the largest colonial empire in the world, and certainly retains power in the geopolitics of Europe. EL REY Ferdinand VI was born on 1743, and is a relatively new monarch, crowned simply 2 years ago. As a child, he received no love from his stepmom, who, only showed affection for her own children, and did not get a lot of political information as a result as his stepmother often controlled his father, the King. He grew up very shy, and melancholic, only being soothed by the sounds of opera from his favorite singer, Farinelli. He had very low self confidence, and as a result he was subject to puppetization by advisors, which is what happened with the Prime Minister, the Marquis of Ensenada, and Jose de Carvajal. They both battle each other for influence to the king, being pretty much bipolar in terms of ideologies and beliefs. He was devoted to his Portuguese wife, whom shared his devotion, and she was also an influence. Despite enacting the goals of others around him, he himself had goals, such as modernizing the country, and expanding the military.

German Empire Papen Resigns! He, in contrast to his rather militarist predecessor, has expressed his wish to focus on the economic aspect of the Empire, stating numerous times the fact that Germany is militarized more then enough, and rearmament is finished. No doubt, Germany will be undergoing radical policy changes in the coming years under the tenure of the new Chancellor. -One notable addition to the new chancellor's cabinet is economic minister Hjalmar Schacht. He has served countless times under numerous different presidencies in Weimar Germany, and needs little to no introduction in upper German Governmental circles as a genius in terms of banking and economy. (Mod for elections). -After reports of rearmament straining the Economy and causing a increase in the German Deficit, the Reichstag votes to implement a new tax to compensate for this. As a result, Taxes are raised almost to war levels to alleviate the strain on the economy caused by rapid rearmament by the German Nation. If widespread protests begin by the German Masses, they are removed to not cost the ruling party the Election. It is hoped that Germany can have one of the most advanced health care and medicine in the world, and can be for forerunner in sciences and provide premium health care to all of the German People, and therefore increase quality of life and the average lifespan. This is a temporary tax, and is called the “Fatherland Improvement Tax”. It is hoped that this tax will generate more money and income to be used for Government projects. (Mod)

German Empire. -With reconstruction complete, Germany enters rearmament. A massive recruiting spree is called for. -Nationalist Propaganda is spread. - Germany also begins a space program. - The German Army begins to replace the horse completely with the truck. - The German Army attempts to mount it's field gun on a tank chassis, creating a powerful machine. - Germany seeks to find a new train variant, one that will be more effective for trade. -Further investigation into Baltic oil is ordered.

The German Empire -With the onset of war across the world, the Ministry of Economics open the weapons market to the world, selling weapons manufactured domestically by arms manufacturers to both sides of the conflict. Weapons in use by the German Army are barred from being sold, and to please the German Protectionists tariffs are maintained. (Mod) -Papen seeks to fix the mess created by propaganda ministry. The heads of the office are all fired or asked to resign, and Papen immediately begins to search for a replacement head propagandist, a role pivotal to the German Empire. He looks no further then Joseph Goebbels, who is a known Nazi. This causes some qualms and controversy in the high circles of the Reichstag, however his peers and subordinates are all filled with German Nationalists and Imperialists. Goebbels, to Papen and to the entire German Reichstag, is known to be a master propagandist. To limit Nazi party propaganda to be spread, all propaganda must be approved by the Ministry of Interior, or the Kaiser.(Mod) -Another more in depth report of oil and gas reserves in the Baltic sea is ordered, this time all resources are concentrated on efforts in the Baltic Sea. These steps are taken after promising reports were given to the German Government. Furthermore, hydro engineers and engineers begin to draw up a new model of an offshore oil rig, to draw up oil and gas efficiently from the ground.(Mod) -With reconstruction from the civil war in its final stages now in Germany, the army goes on a recruitment drive hoping to capitalize the opportunity to continue with rearmament. German Officers go door to door, recruitment booths pop up in public squares across the country, Recruiters especially target civil war veterans, as those are the most experienced and require less training.(Mod) -The German Empire also invests in domestic iron ore mines and reserves, hoping to use both domestic German iron ore and Scandanavian Iron ore to further boost Germany's position in the steel market, and therefore put its economy in a better position. (Mod) -Building restrictions and requirements are revised. After these reforms, buildings must now not only be structurally sound but fit with the architecture and traditions found in the region, and also be appealing to the eye. As a part of these reforms, the crown hopes that German cities will be beautiful even as urbanization and industrialization continues, and Germans will enjoy living in all German cities. These building reforms are hoped to especially be implemented in the most affected areas from the civil war. Special care is put in to make sure that this does not stunt or elongate the reconstruction process. (Mod)

German Empire A steel factory near Berlin. -The German Empire seeks to, through several key engineers and the help of top steel working companies such as Krupp, develop a new method of manufacturing steel. The current method to manufacture steel is outdated and has been used for decades, but however with a competitive global economy Germany has to be at the forefront of the metals market, and it should be with the high influx of dirt cheap hardy Scandinavian iron ore. Several German market analysts and economists perceive mixed projections on what will occur to the German economy if they do manage to create a much more efficient method of manufacturing iron. Some argue that since the country is in reconstruction mode, it will not have much of an effect now, but it will when reconstruction is finish. Others argue that it will take time to teach steelworkers and switch factory methods over, which will also cost money. And others argue that it will be extremely successful and it will be a boon to the German Economy. (Mod) -German government officials have relayed the qualms of the people to the birth rate laws. After some indecisiveness in the German Reichstag, a unanimous agreement is passed which repeals the Birth rate encouragement laws. As a result of this, the scandal and back lash that occurred because of this eventually dies down as the calls of the people are heard. An example of Propaganda -The Ministry of Propaganda, under the orders of the Kaiser and von Papen, release a new batch of propaganda to be spread all around Germany. The propaganda highlights German nationalism, good interfaith relations, the importance of being physically fit and having good morals such as bravery, courage, humility, modesty, and patriotism.(Mod) -Germany, by some analysts or observers, could find itself lacking or finding itself behind in certain fields in the education of children. In higher education circles German scientists find themselves excelling beyond expectations, however the ordinary child finds itself behind. As a result of this, a great emphasis is put on trade and technical schools. The entire German schooling system is revamped. Students who do not perform well are given the choice to either go to a trade school, or a cadets school. Ordinary schools all around the country are ordered to give all students a variety of trades to choose from, and experienced and retired workers teach the students the basics on how to perform that trade, whether it be carpentry, steelworking, or plumbing. In the academics curriculum, money is invested into creating a new curriculum to make German boys and girls excel.(Mod) -Germany looks into setting up offshore oil drilling wells in the North and Baltic Sea. Ships are sent out to both seas to test the ground there, and the reports gathered are to be sent back to the Government to analyse the possibility of setting up a wide array of oil drilling sites, in international waters in both the North and Baltic Sea. Preference is put in the Baltic Sea, where German Oil wells can be safer and more protected by the Kriegsmarine and German Armed Forces. The goal of this project is to obtain a steady and constant flow of oil to fuel the German Economy. (Mod) -The Imperial House of Germany announces exciting news as Irmingard births a baby girl. She has taken the name Maria, and is baptized catholic and Lutheran in Munich and Berlin. Military Affairs A prototype being tested infront of Military Observers. -To keep with the low expenses policy of the German Government, a new model of medium artillery is ordered to be manufactured.(Mod) Foreign Affairs -As a result of the British Expedition into Bulgaria, the Kaiser Wilhelm III in one of his regular addresses and speeches to the German people highlights something which brings to him a high level of discomfort. “The British Government have stressed that they have declare war against communism, and that they will fight against it. It is a noble endeavor indeed, communism is an evil that must be eradicated. However they are doing this by collaborating with the enemy, Yugoslavia, which is also communist. They are even helping them with officers, presumably of course.” Wilhelm backs this up with British newspapers and sources, which he himself shows. (Mod)
