I know and i like the lore and how it is written, but sometimes the theory and the practise are different, i just think that they could use it as a /excuse/ to be spooky, anyways it would be roleplay development for them and thats not bad.

My only complain is that the Archons are the only powerful neutral choice, no dark and not holy, this could give even more power to the dark side.

A lot of people already uses /magic/ staves, and a emote like, "taps the floor with his stave twice" doesnt change a lot the roleplay and at least make it just a bit more rich the roleplay, personally i hate when mages just emotes poorly thigs like "twichs fingers" in my case i play am ascended and i love to explain the whole process how he focus his mind uses the mana of the soul to move the embers within his body and around his soul to invoke his magic, i think it stops being fantastic when you try to hide what is happening just to avoid meta or laziness. Anyways i going out of topic. But coming back at my former response, are you connected with the void all the time that you hold the stave? If that is true how do you lose the connection when someone hurts if you still hold it?

so, if a mage uses his stave all the time, will he need one emote less to cast? most of the mages use their staves as walking sticks, i guess that they will need to connect to the stave or something, if not, would they experiment any kind of fatigue for being connected to the void all the time? (( I am just curious, i don't play any voidal mage)

Each holy magic has their own holy alteration, but i like the idea of the light stones, maybe those will give to the clerics a better way to make enchantments, because they can only give aurum properties to weapons, but as you said it would be a double edge sword, wich would make them much more useful for dark beings than to the most of the holies because they can put 4 on a shield or small ones spread on an armor and be highly resistant to holy magics, coming back to the other side i have been told that only 4 paladins know how to use their holy alteration so maybe it would be abit limited for them (maybe ibam wrong), and Ascended already can make something similar to the stones, however that doest mean that i wont use them, i am actually thinking about add them to a future project that i have in mind.

I love the rewrite, now i want to have a voidal mage, but I dont like not being able to activate two magic items in the same emote, i should be able to activate two items if i have them in different hands, imagine for example a sword and a shield that are enchanted.

If their souls are altered and no deity made that, are they affected by ascended magic? This breaks the first criteria of soulfire: "Significant alteration to a soul, to a point where they have access to magics unattainable by normal means, while also receiving major changes to their physical structure." Also for a disconnected Zephonim will be ready hard to get back their inicial lower body basically because the souls gets updated after an elven week after a change have been done, and these creatures lost their original lower limbs when they turned into a Zephonim. In my personal appreciation this kind of creature shouldnt have a way to get "disconnected" but yeah, i dont play them so i dont have a say in the matter. Anyways good addition, after read the lore and then this post everything is a bit more clear.

I don't see why they would be able to learn how to use the magical by themselves when the original users of the magics need a lot of months to learn them. And in the most of the cases you can't tier up or learn new abilities without a teacher and having lessons. Also in the case of the ascended we have our flame in our body and we don't get our power directly from aeriel, when we get connected our embers is small and then it starts to grow and grow until become a flame. But also the flame can't exist without the connection. So I don't see how you could use the ascended magic without have a progenous ember connected to Aeriel in the trinket. I can't understand neither why it would just affect to holy mages, Ascended magic just affect altered souls, if we say that this magic can turn the magics into opposite, it will hurt all the non altered souls, like descendants, voidal horrors, holy mages etc etc. My conclusions: I think you only should be able to use tier 1 or 2 of the magics that you steal and you should have previous knowledge about it to understand how to use it. Also more explanation about how it works in each magic would be appreciated.

An easy way to get minas? 1- You need to be lumberjack. 2- Cut trees 3- Sell the wood and the branches in the CT 4- You need to grind until become Masterful, once in masterful you could cut an entire tree breaking only 1 log with a diamond axe. (to get more blocks in less time you could cut spruce) 5- Make your own farm of trees, a place where you can have a lot of chest. - Get some shulker boxes, they could help you to carry big amounts of wood from your farm to the CT in less time. - If you spend enough hours you could get more than 10k every day. - Dont worry about the axes, the most of the time only the branches gives you enough minas to pay the axes, letting you all the minas of the wood as profit.
