      @Man of RespectThats something that I actually strongly agree with. You can have a calm reaction to something you feel strongly to – or a respectful reaction. Now, if the person does that then the mature thing to do is to take their feelings into account, as they’ve publicized them in a respectful way.

      “Overreaction” is subjective, people have different things that they feel strong emotions about and there’s no problem with that nor is it premise to try and insult someone with the word – that’s like insulting someone for liking the color blue. “Haha Bluey, you like that ugly ass color?”

      I didn’t say “everyone has feelings”, I said everyone acts “emotional” or does things that can be considered overreactional by another person. It’s immature and nonsensical to excuse insulting someone for something that everyone does.

      @argonianeveryone becomes emotional or as you’ve stated “flies off the handle” for something, thats what comes with the capacity to have emotions.

      To be quite honest, racial slurs are still racial slurs even if the person you’re insulting isn’t apart of said racial group. I don’t think Gypsy is a racial slur, however – though correct me if I’m wrong.
