Well yeah, but the removing the whole auction house was complete overkill in my opinion. Sorry, but "buying wood rp" just isn't fun. It just isn't, I'm sorry. And running around trying to get wood, cobblestone... It's just another prime example how we de-minecraftise LOTC and reduce it to just Text-Based Roleplay with nothing else to do. Lotc used to be a lot more then just that... Roleplay on LOTC could be so much more.

On top of that; It's also a matter of timezone. The server is dead during European timezone. How am I do RP to get my shit, if there's nobody to RP with besides a select few? It's not well thought-through in my opinion and limits the European, Ocenian and Asian players base.

Simply: No. All combat spells in voidal mage require a strong tell. The lore is very detailed about it.

If I'd have my voidal mage do any funky magic in a Haense court everyone see it because the eyes glow bright blue. Flemish is right. IMO Blood magic needs a proper tell so it's not used for trolling.

Obviously. But taking 3 months after you're done with the base paint really won't help. I can tell you one thing: This will be at least May and LOTC won't even hit 130 players on weekdays by then.

If you actually think waiting more then three months is a good idea that won't severly damage the server you're killing player retention. Almaris has been around for more then two years by this. After map painting you really shouldn't take another three months...
