We quite literally had the in the beginning of Almaris and everyone hate it, remember? It lead to no one really being able to build stuff, nodes being forgotten etc, hour long searching bla bla bla. I really loved this idea in the beginning as well, but a central station (or four) where you can easily gather materials and you aren't dependent on pastes anymore - which btw were only introduced as a temporary system to ensure people can still get resources - is just way more relaxing and actually causes a trading economy. Because let's be real: Even IF we reduce certain materials to certain nations, most nations will just open up their nodes. Why? Because it makes the life for everyone easier and everyone profits from it. "The wealth of nations"... remember? What could be cool though, if special RP items and materials could only be found in certain areas; this however would need to be carefully balanced and probably won't be worth the time.

I fully agree. I think if we raise money, it should be for a purpose, aka: Hey guys we wanna upgrade our server to XYZ and need 8000 Euro for it. Donate here: Because people won't donate for something they dont know what its for. But if there's a certain purpose I'd gladly give 100 Euro or more for it. And when it comes to 'professional' services: In my opinion LOTC really shouldnt professionalise. Because that always comes with commercialising. We're a community who wants fun, not a company trying to make money.
