The Ly’Di Clan

 

A mostly extinct clan, the Ly’Di’s have now come back to play in Orcish Culture, leading surprising claims as spiritual gurus. A clan mostly with little members, it looks promising to grow…

 

Ranks

Chieftan - Leader of the Clan, absolute say.

Guru - An experienced elder of the clan, who has been in it for quite some time, a respected member and considered spiritually wise.

Member: A normal member of the Ly’Di clan.

Cub: A less respected member, yet to prove him/herself. A child in Orcish Society.

 

History

Born an orphan, Gorlekk found it extremely hard to intergrate himself into Orcish society. He did to some extent, however, he raved about the lost of his parents he never knew. Upon finding an old shack in the far backs of the Orcish Desert, he came across books that looked of his father's origin. Upon reading them, Gorlekk realized his father always striven for spirituality. 

 

Gorlekk personally took this upon himself to expand his knowledge of spirituality, and have others know about it was well. He would try and do what his father never could, which was forming a clan based on such things. A clan to call home. A clan to aid the Uruks in consultation about the Spirits. and so he set out to do these goals.

Initations

When a Ly’Di cub is born, a close eye is kept on them until they are two years old. When this happens, they must go to the driest deserts and battle the elements there, and fight for food, for a week. When they are four, they must live in the ocean and it’s storms for a week. When they are six, they must travel to the highest peaks of the mountains and live in the harsh weather for a week.

 

When they are eight years old, they will go to a volcano and live amongst the extremely harsh environment. And finally, when they are 10 years old, they must do a combination of all four, testing their worth as a Uruk and a Ly’Di. When this is all over, speed, combat, and agility tests are taken to prove the Uruk’s strength and abilities.

Brief Biography:

 

        Alex is a 3'6" tall Adunian boy who left home shortly after his father was taken by Dread Knights, and his sister killed in a raid by the Black Scourge. In that same raid, he suffered a serious head injury, which luckily ended without any noticeable mental effects, aside from the obvious trauma of the event. Upon reaching Malinor, which he'd frequented many times before in short visits to the Druids, he met an Adunian man who claimed to have known his father, and was warned against returning to Adunia. Deciding to take the man's advice, he pondered his options. While he was busy thinking of ideas, the Adunian man still present, Bubbub offered to take him in, to which Alex unwittingly agreed to, despite the halfhearted protest of the man. Since then, they've been living an almost comical life together.
