I can't understand why people have to be so technical. I don't know about you but, I'm here to have fun not arguments. If I wanted to argue I would have became a lawyer. Seriously, let us all hold hands and be friends. Together we shall prosper.  Glory to LotC.

Sometimes technical things can be an interesting topic when it can (and has sometimes) entered lotc. Besides, the technical side of items, lore, ect... is what makes it fun unless your interested in just drinking beer and yelling out "Fun!"

You already became one when you made your post? Though you seem to be a pacifist... probably should retire.

Lord of the Craft won't be pure Anthos armor & weapons because a good deal of it, such as plate armor, represents very clearly European armor. Same for broadswords, crossbows, shortswords, and so on. The katana has also been used which is why this discussion appeared. We are nearly purely based off of real life armor and weapons except when it comes to fantasy weapons that come from final fantasy & anime stuff.

*Cough* The Katana's didn't just appear. Do I need to direct you to the Eastern Influenced culture of LOTC known as the Easterners?

Katanas were in LOTC before the Eastern culture appeared used by people who usually wore robes, elves, or assassins on occasions. Your culture simply made it into an art officially from the Easterners instead of by random people.

The Eastern Culture has existed since Aegis just in a veeeeeery small scale. Its existed as log as I've been on the server which I joined in late 2011. I joined on my Easterner character Kais who is my first character and still remains. So theres no real issue why they exist the real issue is why so many people have them.

Holding you to that, though Easterners weren't the only ones using katanas. My point is people who have never even met your culture had Katanas which is why this was brought up. In a sense katanas were becoming a bad thing because everyone was becoming ninjas/assassins who could do flying jump kicks, using their Katanas to slice at your throat if they missed.

Easterners = Chinese/Japanese = A culture Based off of IRL cultures and weapons. I'm not calling the Easterners bad, I'm merely stating that it is based off of an IRL culture & its weapons as was my previous post stating.
