A Message To The Druids

A bird carrying a scroll is sent out towards the large turtle outside the Cloud Temple. Another copy is sent to the Druid Grove in Malinor.

The paper lets off a faint golden glow upon contact, and the letters give seem to radiate slightly.

[sorry for my shitty photoshop, usually mine is better but I was trying out a new format.]

It has come to my and my fellow monk's attention that the Druids have made unauthorized circle within the walls of the Cloud Temple Sanctuary. Though I do hold the highest respect for the Druidic Order and their vows it is highly important that we can come to agreement over the land holdings within the Cloud Temple.

It is a fact that the Sanctuary is holy grounds to the Celestial Triumvirate and their follows, the Monks of Wilven. The Celestial Triumvirate keeps the ground neutral and violence free. This brings up pur first problem, as harboring an Order such as yourself defeats our purpose of neutrality. We know quite well that you Druids vow for peace, but you don't have the power to uphold these vows as your main circle stands outside the grand City of Malinor and is open to attack. This, therefor, would break the neutrality of those who tend The Celestial Triumvirate's land.

Secondly, your order has no right to take the land of the Wilven Monks without permission, which the lands has graciously given to the Monks by The Celestial Triumvirate. The lands you take up are in much need for the upcoming festivals of the ever-booming Cloud Temple. Also your Turtle has blocked and possibility of docking ships.

We do not mean to come off as harsh nor do we mean to disrupt any doings of the Druidic Order, though we do have claim to the stolen lands. We would much rather come to a compromise so both of our Orders can live happily. We do not want to take the land back with other motives, so here is our offers:
A. Your circle is moved directly outside the gates of the Cloud Temple and your turtle is moved back further towards the Ocean.
B. The turtle moved back into the Ocean and the supplies are completely removed from our land.
C. You take up the vows and put on the robes of the Wilven Monks, thereby swearing your life to the Celestial Triumvirate.
D. You get out alltogether.

If no compromise, us Monks will take action against the Druidic Order.

Monk Jea goes forward, putting a symbol of the Trium all over the groove. Giggling amazingly annoyingly as he does this. He continues, the entire area now covered in ink-ridden symbols. He also does this to a rather stupid bird who thinks he was a druid.

"THAT'LL SHOW EM. FILTHY DRUIDS AHUEHUEHUE."

He then continues, considering, putting down a note as well.

"Argyll is young and full of anger. I once attempted to join your order in the days of Aegis. I respect you. Please follow Argyll's instructions, or be evicted. We are monks. We are not moneylenders, nor landgrabbers. We beg your kindness in these matters.

Monk Jea."

Ouity surveys the parchment with mild interest, rubbing his beard. He knows to whom the Grove belongs, and plans to send it along, but not before leaving a reply of his own.

To the Wilven Monks,

While we hold in turn only the greatest respect for you and your people, I would put forward a personal plea to allow the grove to remain where it lies. It is cared for by a sole Druid, one who has already been tossed and turned greatly in her life, and it would be in poor taste to evict her from yet another home. We, or rather, she, wish nothing more than to cultivate the land and interact with those who pass in (and mostly out) of your great temple, offering food and warm greetings to whomever should meet her. Now, as for the turtle, it has just as much a right to live at your temple as a squirrel or a rabbit. He is a peaceful creature, and to evict him on the grounds of being a friend of the Druids would be to evict all nature. Folly. I hope to converse with you further on this topic, perhaps in person. I will pass your letter along to the caretaker of the temple grove so that she may make her own reply, but please, be kind... and patient with her. I think you will need more of that than anything else.

Sincerely,

Ouity

Jae goes to the mailing room, intercepting the letter. He smiles a bit, he recalled such a man in his youth. He remembered this in vague recollection with a billion other sordid details of which history might fail, he takes out his pen, and begins to write in fine, golden cursive.

"Dear, Ouity.

As one of the Elder Monks, I wish to converse with you on this topic upon this day. Speak to me at the temple, at the top(Quite literally) you will find my home. On more careful consideration, the next elven day is more appropriate. I will forward this to Argyll as well. I must also add,

No matter if she has been tossed and turned in her life, she has made a mess of a big part of our sanctuary. We have never went into your grooves and made a shrine to Keldrith, why must you impose the same on us? We wish no harm, but I am flustered as well as the rest of us at the audacity of such a thing. It is terribly uncivil without our slight permission as well. I seek no qualm, we are nonviolent in both situation. We are peaceful orders of the world.

In countless love, and the grace of Rellnia, I bid you farewell.

Regards,

Jea.

Elorna reads over the letter and raises a brow. "Samuel is large... but I would imagine he likes the warm waters of the harbor, or he would've moved already..."

OOC:

[9:36:49 PM] Bird (Boid): War between the two most peaceful orders.
[9:36:50 PM] Bird (Boid): Suuuure.
[9:36:57 PM] White-Vodka: "I declare war!"
[9:37:10 PM] White-Vodka: "For our first battle, we will roll dice to determine the victor!"
[9:37:13 PM] Bird (Boid): WHOEVER CAN KEEP THE FREE BREAD BOX FILLED THE LONGEST IS THE VICTOR
[9:37:24 PM] Bird (Boid): AND GUESS WHO HAS SUPER FARMING POWERS
[9:37:39 PM] White-Vodka: For our next bloody victory
[9:37:45 PM] White-Vodka: WHO CAN GIVE THE MOST WEALTH TO THE POOR

A quock note is sent back [on mobile] to wolfy druid

" I do not ask for him to be evvicted, but moved back atleast 50 meters to make room for more ships. I would not evict any animal, though if a nest is in my way I'd rather move it out of the way than destroy, which is also what I wish to do with your druid. There is plenty of room just by the gate for her. Perhaps if she asked before moving in the circumstances would be different.

Monk Argyll "

Ouity arrives on sanctuary ground the next day, heading for the clump of trees he'd seen Sabrae working to tend to. As he approaches the elf, he seems to grow slightly wary, still unsure as to exactly what she's capable of.

"I assume ye received my letter, are ye ready to depart?" He rumbles, glancing around the clump of trees. "Odd that such reasonable men would want a simple thing of nature gone. Perhaps it has been too long since someone reminded them of the boons such a place can provide. Samuel as well, eh? Come on." he adds rather unhurriedly. I'm sure they're already waiting for us."

Argyll, who has been surveying the field by the Druid Tent for a future Event spots the druid pair. He approaches them, staff held tight in his hand.

"I'm sorry you have to leave, I suggested a small move to a place where you will most likely get more attention. Though if you will it, I bare you a small goodbye. And one for the turtle, if you plan to take him. We did not want you gone, just moved only a few hundred feet by the Monk Stables. Farewell, rouge Druid."

He sighs, kicking the dirt infornt of him.

"This could have worked out of you talked to us before moving in instead of taking land belonging to the Celestial Triumvirate."

Jea goes forward, plastering a note plainly onto the main tree. Posting it clear and wide, and with no ornate measure to suit.

"Please vacate. Argyll has ordered as such. We do not wish to cause anyone harm, nor will we: Please obey our wishes." It is all that is there, and no name is present.

Monk Lucian growls a little bit, looking at the orders and frowning.

He steps to place a note on the noticeboard of the temple, as well as mail it to the individuals.

"Dearest Druids, and my own brethren,

Argyll, while he is a competent monk and a good man, had no right to order the lady from her home. She will be permitted to stay, provided that she acknowledges the fact she does not, in fact, own the land she lives on. It is granted to her by the benevolence of the monks of the Triumvirate. As to the turtle, I request the opposite: That he stay, as a guest, to the temple. I have grown fond of the sight of him from the temple proper.

Apologies for the confusion. We would like the welcome any druids who wish to join the lady in her grove, provided she too welcomes them. Compassion and neutrality is our goal, and it would be cruel to do either of the actions presented.

Good day,

Monk Lucian Evermist Goldmoon"

"Of course." Ouity replies smoothly, planting his plain staff in the dirt. "I will go check the notice board, and see if perhaps there is any more word of this... situation" He gives her a slightly apologetic look. "I understand how silly this all is, yeah? Back in a chirp."

Ouity strides away down the short path to the notice board, where he spends a few moments studying the new messages which have emerged. He ambles back, grinning cheerfully.

"Seems we don't even have to discuss things, summat has told off the other monks fer being unfriendly. Yer home is safe."

Monk Lucian approaches the druid female later on, an apologetic smile on his face,
"
My deepest sympathies for the misunderstand, madame. I hope this results in no long-term rift between our groups."
