His smiling face was gone. Up and out he went one night dragging a cart full of supplies to god knows where anymore. Bolo was gone as was his legacy as Elder but that's not all that was lost as he left. Beneath the rubble of his cave lay dozens upon dozens of solid gold bars and knick knacks. Carpets made gracefully from High Oak and the smelted pieces of the giant bell lay scattered about lost forever in their tiny hiding spot. With him gone nobody but his cousin knew about the treasure and the misadventures they went on. The names they made for themselves and the times they stole a bell and rolled it down a hill destroying Petes favorite outhouse in the process.

It was gone now though. Just like that he stepped down without a word and left Lenfarthing to sleep and eat his days away in his vacation burrow in who knows where doing who knows what. Whatever it is though, it is surely better than being with Posco and his big head though. A tiny scrap of paper lay on the table with a single sentence, "Don' touch me gold or I'll cu' ya fingahs off." ~Love Bolo

((Good luck everyone, I'll be gone for the most part popping my head in to make sure nobody burns down the village.))

Aris hobbles out of his burrow for the first time in years to be present in the funeral. After much sniffling, drinking and a hard talk with Posco he heads back to his cozy burrow. He takes his trusty golden spade off it's display hook and rests it next to his bed. Dousing the fire Aris hops into bed before the munchkins can grab at his exposed ankles, making sure to get good rest for tomorrow's return to eldering.

((Thanks for all you've done for the halflings Bolo! You've been a driving force in this little sleepy community, planning many an event or festival and making some hard decisions even if others disagreed with them. It's going to be tough loosing you man, but I wish you good luck with life. Hopefully you'll be back some day soon!))

Fumble wanders around the burrow aimless muttering to himself,

"Fum'le ya i' man o' house now... ya i' man o' house now... ya i' man o' house now..."

He repeats this to himself thousands and thousands of times, bags growing under his eyes, lost without his father.

((Thanks for the funnest times ever! Hope you return as Bolo one day! Thanks for introducing me into this great community))
