I want to know the reason behind these crashes. It's been happening a lot lately, and I really want to know what's going on.

As far I know, a mixture of DDoS, hosting issues and mojang issues.

For the past 10~ days or so, most of the 'server being unaviaible' issue was due to mojang borking 1.6.2/1.6.4. servers. We also had a chunk error which caused like 4-5 crashes over a week span but has been fixed.

There is not a stable bukkit for 1.7 yet that is why we can not update, Or at least I dont think there is.
