Could Someone Please Explain What Happened To Mas?

Hey,

I was away for quite a while, and I saw that magic apps are gone. What does that mean?

Can anyone become a mage? Do they have to train? Do they have to be taught? Can they use any kind of magic, because we don't need to post lore for it (yeah, I noticed lore is gone too...).

  I believe anyone can become a mage as long as they follow some rules and  they are meant to be taught as well. Magic lore is still needed as well. This post will hopefully explain some more about it:

Yes, with the exception of magic types that you'd have to get through very specific RP (Shamanism, Frost Witch, Druid, Runesmithing, the guild/race magics essentially) magic doesn't have an application, you can just RP it. However, mages don't get any form of special treatment, the normal rules of RP-PvP default and mechstandard apply to them.
