Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - Yes, I have. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by how, but I can tell you what games I have role-played on. WoW, SWG, Runescape, ArmA, LotRO, Fallen Earth, Star Trek Online, and countless others. I have about 4-5 years of role-play under my belt(albeit half was rather amateur).

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Sort of, very light role-play.

How did you hear about us?: - Friends.

What do you think the server will be like? - Hopefully fun, exciting, and dramatic.

What is roleplaying?: - Playing a role/acting.(In this case creating a character and playing a game from the perspective of the character.)

What’s metagaming?: - Using OOC knowledge in-character.

What’s powergaming?: - Becoming over powered, ex: Becoming invincible and destroying a fortress with the snap of a finger.

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 70

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - 

 

Saeros was born to an average family of elves in Normandor, his mother Elanthris the daughter of a gem store owner and his father Aeln a weapons trader, both being moderately wealthy.

He spent most of his childhood exploring the surrounding forest.

At an early age(15) he became an apprentice to Quenar the Fletcher.

Quickly growing fond of him as he teaches him the craft and how to use a bow.

 

 

Ten years later, his father is viciously mauled by a rabid horde of undead while on his way back from another land.

Distraught by his fathers death, Saeros, filled with rage, takes his bow and searches for the undead.

Knowing the forests like the back of his hand, he quickly finds the marauding horde.

He climbs a tree, takes an arrow from his quiver and draws his bow, recklessly firing into the undead's torso, again he loads a second arrow, quickly firing into the undead's skull.

Unfortunately as he goes to grab another arrow from the quiver, the strap unbuckles and slides down the trunk of the tree.

The undead notice the now trapped elf and surround the tree, overwhelming the young elf.

Luckily Quenar had been out looking for him and assumed the worst.

Quenar, having been an scout in the elven Rangers was able to quickly find Saeros and rescue him along with the help from a garrison from the city.

Shortly after the incident Quenar and Elanthris married.

 

 

Twenty years pass as Saeros trains in preparation to join the Elven Rangers. Now that he has honed his skills he joins the Rangers and becomes a soldier.

He went on many missions in this time, soaking up the experience from his fellow Rangers and the missions themselves.

 

Soon the Scourge appeared in the North, Saeros thought nothing of it until heads starting appearing at the literal elven doorstep.(sorry, not entirely sure on the lore here.) the Rangers were called to action when the Scourge wanted to talk peace, the Elves had other plans.

The day of the peace talks came and it immediately turned to violence, the Scourge killing his comrades, Saeros quickly realizing the futileness of their efforts decided to run,abandoning his comrades and barely escaping the slaughter along with a few other like minded individuals.

 

Eventually the attack on Luminaire happened, destroying all plant life in the area.

Upon hearing this, Saeros fled to the human land of Oren and became a wanderer.

What are their ambitions?: - To make a profit, possibly open up a fletcher.

Do they have any special skills?: - Fletcher, Master Archer, Tracking, Advanced medical knowledge, Extremely Agile, Tactician

What are their weaknesses?: - Weak upper body strength, Greed, none other outstanding weaknesses.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Saeros stands at a height of 6'4, an athletic build weighing in at 150lbs, a slightly darker complexion than most wood elves, he has emerald green eyes and long blonde hair that goes down to his waist.
