Do you have any planned drawings/concepts for art pending currently?

What would you say is your weirdest drawing?

I love this style, it's very cute!

And you said you'd want some critiques? I'd be happy to point some things out, if that's alright with you!

It's just two simple things that I find even myself doing a lot of times. There isn't very much variety between different characters, as a lot of them have the same eye, facial structure and sometimes pose. Changing things up a bit, or even practicing by drawing other people's characters can get you out of that bad habit! (Which I'm working on right now, aha)

And the final one that /every/ artist has a problem with is anatomy! (Which I think you pointed out yourself c: ). Try making sure to follow the proportion rules when drawing out, and once again practicing helps you improve!

However by no means does that make you any worse of an artist. Stylized drawing makes art unique, and makes that style your own! I really like the lines and variety in coloring and painting! Keep it up and I look forward to seeing more from you!

Not to go against you Keem, - (as your words bear a lot of truth, but at an angle don't apply to a tad.) but sometimes breaking proportion PURPOSEFULLY can a lot of times help the overall presentation of the character.

Oh yes, that's why I wrote the part about stylized drawings c:

I understand people break proportions, as most artists I admire have unique and very un-proportioned styles, on purpose. But I assumed as she was talking about fixing proportions, she wanted some advice. Hell, I break anatomy all the time, for example all the chibis I draw.

I guess when I meant to say anatomy, I meant the anatomy of her specific style.

Not really, I always have a few unfinished sketches around but as I don't have a scanner it's sometimes difficult to transfer those onto my computer. I tend to sketch things on a whim, or I get an idea or decide to draw a character (the blonde girl, as you can see showed up atleast twice, as she's my oldest character)

WEirdest drawing has to be something I made a few years back. I literally drew someone being murdered in a alleyway. I don't remember why but I still have it.

Thank you!

Yeah I deffinetly have some things to work on, but I'm wondering which drawings specifically do you think look simmilar in the face?

The first few male faces all have thin slit-like eyes, thinner faces - and pronounced chins.

Oopsies~ Yeah you know what, I'll look into that some more, It's been a while since I've done a sketch dump doing different styles of faces and eyes. I definitely need some variation on eyes, I think the problem is ever since I made one drawing of a Nord character of mine, I've fallen in love with that shape of eye!

My own personal preference clouded my judgement, gah!

On another note, I'm about to dig through my pictures and see if I can find some older ones and post those, but I'm wondering if I should edit those into the first post or leave them somewhere after this post

1st thing - don't say it clouded your judgement - just that you like drawing a certain kinda face!

I hate drawing "Pretty" faces, so I only draw ones that have a certain amount of character to them. That doesn't mean my artistic judgement is clouded.

2nd thing - you should post the drawings - not edit the main topic.

Okay here we go! I'm going to go in order of oldest to newer but still old, this is going to be a veeery long post, as I'm highlighting what I think shows my devopment most, for a time I was only doing headshots that were only sketches, so I narrowed it down to finished pictures that I can recall working hard on and not just simple doodles

I see - you've been playing Skyrim...

Seeing from the beginning - to now - your skill massively developed through later 2012 to the greatness that you have today.

Though - May I ask about the one-armed angel?

Sure! that's Mabui, I was part of a sort of Angel-themed RP and I played him from child to adulthood, I dont get to use him often at all but he's a character I always remember.

He ended up training a shitton and becoming pretty decent with a lance.

Actually my Ratio of drawing men to drawing women is pretty severe. Breasts are ******* hard to draw and I don't RP a girl very often. I spend enough time as a girl in real life.

XD

Odd, I find breasts oddly easy to draw...

Yet - like you, I prefer to draw men... Drawing girls makes me feel a tad wrong.
