rukio 8924 Share Posted January 21, 2014 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-V5NGyhrb0 "How can I hate someone I love?" She stared at the wall, drowning out the silence of the room with music. "Because hate and love aren't so different." The demon whispered in her ear as it stroked her hair. The girl closed her eyes, knowing that if she tried to look she would be terrified. Instead, she wove her fingers into her hair, pretending to hold the demon's hand. The demon was the only one who hadn't abandoned her as far as her mind was concerned. As though they sensed she was caving in, the others came out of hiding. They held her hands and wiped the tears from her face. They all whispered the same promise to her. "We love you, we'll never abandon you. They left, they all left. We will never leave you. You should kill yourself, join us. We're the only ones who will ever love you. Anyone who claims to is just a liar." The girl didn't reply. She no longer had a voice. She was too weak from weeks of barely sleeping and constant silent screams and sobbing. There was almost no fight left in her, it had been reduced to a hazy glow. "He abandoned me...just like everyone else." The thought was not her own, but it lingered anyways, taunting her. "Yes, yes. Give in, they don't need you. No one else wants you. If you die, they will all be happier." The demons replied with feverish anxiety. The girl reached for her mp3, part of her wanting to listen to the demons more. Something stopped her though, a voice she couldn't distinguish or understand. Her gaze turned from the wall, as though she were seeking it. Her heart raced, a distorted scream escaping her mouth as she faced her demons. Petrified, she looked at them all in the face. Every horror she had ever faced or even simply imagined stood in front of her. She screamed again and felt that something had penetrated her skin. When the girl had looked down, a knife was lodged in her stomach. A skeletal hand held the handle, blood somehow oozed down the white bones, staining them crimson. The demon had smiled, twisted the knife as the girl had realized what happened. Her hand went to her stomach. She felt sick and yet somehow completely at peace at the same time. The world buzzed, but she barely noticed. Her horrors began to fade, the world had began to slip from her grasp. The demon's laughter overpowered the buzzing noises and even her music, the last saving grace that had kept her sane. The girl collapsed sideways, the white pillow that she fell on top of was soon stained red, herself never to rise again.
