Admiral_Ackbarf 67 Share Posted January 21, 2014 When we had our friend Reckreations join Lord Of The Craft a while ago, he and a few others were awesome enough to create a video promoting the server. With that being said that video reached over 100,000 views bringing in tons of traffic. We were on the front page of YouTube and we remained on the front page on Minestatus for months on end. I would say 80% of the server has seen the infamous video created for LOTC and it was a huge success. My idea is to create something again for 4.0. I'm not talking about just another updated 4.0 video but THE official LOTC trailer that's modified of course to fit the constant lore changes that are being made. Also we could work on getting more votes on the server and maybe making it to one of the top 3 pages on Minestatus. It's not impossible but it's possible if we work hard enough within these areas. Perhaps we could make new applicants vote for the server before applying or maybe even offer something else in-game for those who voted besides 50 minas. I would love to make this server THE server again within the Minecraft world, getting our name brought back to be even stronger then it was before. cruzazul 2815 Share Posted January 21, 2014 It may prove beneficial to have a decently known YouTuber promote our channel as well. It doesn't have to be someone of the Yogscast or Skydoesminecraft caliber but if we could get someone with a decent subscriber base to promote the server we would definitely see a spike in members. Alot of people do lets play series to promote lotc, unfortunately, not many of them have over 5k subscribers(if any). What we need is bigger youtubers doing stuff like that. Draeris 3124 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Do what I did when I had my fabulous server, don't be afraid to contact. Alot of famous PMC'ers, and more famous youtubers are interested working for us. We have the prestige, the roses & bees.. Get on PMC, become the talk of the day. Become the talk of the day, and people want to make a youtube video. I tried to promote my server by using my reviewer respect on PMC, perhaps others as well? Dare to invest and undertake I say. Also, I smile seeing my review when I joined my first two weeks..
