Sonderweg in Germany(weather the Nazis were inevitable due to lack of German development of Liberal systems), Anti German Determinism(German people are special cos Allan Taylor says so :/), causes of the second world war, Reasons for the rise of Nazis(ties in with first 2), Anywhere in soviet history focusing on any of the leader and debating which one contributed to the eventual collapse(Stalin’s command economy and central planning, Khrushchev’s destalinization and the switch from totalitarianism, Brezhnev pretending nothing’s wrong... so on), The middle east, Civil right movement and that’s all I can think of.
