Why Is Alras A Thing Again?

If it's true that there is rp backing them, and that is the reason they are receiving prebuilt permissions, then why do not more well established groups who have been active for months, such as the Easterners or Snow Elves, get this privilege?

Don't know about you.. But I have ran several families and houses who where in close touch with Alras, its just been seperated alot. Now that everybody is back together, and mostly rply, I don't see why it is such a problem?

What is your basis on us not returning RP'ly? We've most certainly conducted quite the bit of RP in 3.0, as well have established acknowledgement by the Kingdoms, once more. If the players will it, then it shall be so. Those who know me will tell you I am against nepotism towards those who have not earned something. As for land, we are NOT being given any land. We are taking the land through RP means upon 4.0's release.

I don't know who told you we were pre-building, but they were wrong. I've been on the development server to voxel. Alras has never prebuilt, we didn't in Aegis, we didn't in Asulon even when we were told we could on the dev server, we choose not to do so because we find it unfair to the other players who can't. Alras has prided itself in working for everything in character via roleplay, your view towards this is greatly miscued my friend.

(Note we did pre-build some of Alras on the 3.0 development server, for something that would've otherwise been unrealistic to build.))

Also racial nations are all locked in OOC factionalist "let's hate each other" mentalities.

Anyway, when I went to Alras in Asulon, it was empty every time. Even when the Dwarves war claimed it nobody was there to defend it.

I don't think that anyone cares if Alras has a playerbase to be active in their nation, or RP to back this sudden resurfacing up.. the problem is that it was clearly stated long time ago that only the main four races would get land to start with, many times said that "High Elves won't get land, nor will any other races that had nations".. and now Alras gets land? Isn't that quadruple standards on High Elves,

Snow Elves, Easteners, and all the other 'factions' that also have an active playerbase that never really disappeared and RP to back it up. Incase they get a land to start with, it simply is not fair.

 

I thought the whole theme with the 4.0 thing was that everyone would have the same chances. Isn't that the reason MA's were removed? Isn't that the reason VA's were removed?

Yes, we have our own prebuild server dedicated for LoTC'ers to conceptualize builds and help with the planning and construction of a test build for Alras. That server is not affiliated with LoTC, we spent our own money on that.

How about you close this thread that just basically bashes on Alrasians. I've been in their chat for months semi involved and rped with them in the wilds and lenniel.

Again, even if they got two scoops of ice cream and you only got one, it doesn't give you an excuse to throw a fit on the forums. Alras will be a fun rp hub for tons of people, don't be a party pooper

Right, not really my fight but I think some clarification is needed.

They have their own build server, and they have just pre-planned the builds on the land they wish to acquire, plain and simple. 

 

They have not got pre-builds on the build map at all.
