Zezimus 1523 Share Posted February 22, 2014 Dwarven Guild Tasks As you walk into the grand halls of Kal’Ithrun, you see that there is a large parchment nailed against the notice board. As you squint your eyes to see what it has to say, you read the following. “To the guilds of Kal’Ithrun and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, As among the first acts of my reign, I have taken the decision to allocate each guild a specific task to be completed within an elven week of this document being presented. There will be one of these tasks per elven month. Should a guild leader effectively perform to an adequate standard of the Grand King’s expectations, they will be granted a monetary reward of two thousand mina from the Grand Kingdom’s treasury. Failure to accomplish either task over two elven months however will result in the likely possibility of the guild leader’s demotion. As such, the following tasks have been assigned to each of the Grand Kingdom’s guilds: The Legion – Grand Marshal Zahrer Irongrinder Successfully perform a Legion training session before the Grand King, as well as adequately ensure all guards are performing their duties correctly and to a sufficient standard. The Smithing Guild – Forge Master Dared Starbreaker Forge an item of considerable value for the Grand King that can be treasured as a dwarven artefact by future generations and passed down to the Grand King’s successors. This can be anything from a weapon to an article of clothing. The Clergy – High Prophet Aldal Ireheart Perform a sermon before the Grand King and the nation’s populace on one of the gods of the Brathmordakin. The Engineering Guild – Master Engineer Tog Irongrinder Create and display a new invention before the Grand King. This must be deemed useful and of good quality. Yemekar’s Workforce – Yemekar’s Pick Onar Ireheart Gather the following materials for the Grand Kindgom’s Treasury; A crate of wooden logs, and a crate of stone brick. The Remembrancers – High Remembrancer Fimlin Grandaxe Write a book on a historical event or individual within the Grand Kingdom. The Merchant Guild – Grand Merchant Fili Grandaxe Set up a trade agreement with another nation and provide proof that the transaction took place. The Alchemy Guild – Ogradhad’s Alchemist Kardel Irongut Create a new concoction that may be useful for the Grand Kingdom’s future. If a guild leader has any questions upon the tasks they have been set, do not hesitate to inform me. If for some reason I cannot be found in Kal’Ithrun to complete your assigned task, you may also send me a letter to express any concerns you might have. He then looks up towards the various members of the King's Council and begins to speak.
