High Pontiff Joshua began to trudge through the streets, every step seeming to sink into the mud of the poor managed road. His coat, once brightened with red crosses, now faded to a mix of colors. He dwelt with the common folk, to the center of Vekaro. There he stood atop a podium, looking out to the ones who he swore to liberate in God's name.

Some time later, he would go to the Courts of Oren. And where the middle class roam. And all the corners of Oren where they can hear his voice, he went, and delivered the following speech. It is also sent as a letter to all Noble houses and clergymen.

"Tradition!" he yells out to them.

"Tradition is all it matters, now. Regulus, sitting in his keep, reading over old documents. Iosif, doing -nothing- in God's name. And they watch the ages pass by, and when one puts his foot down to stop such inactivity, they moan and bicker? They have the power to change lives in the name of the Creator, yet they are too lazy to do it!

Does the high position of a church member mean instant inactivity? No! For I tell you, it is not I but them that are committing heresy, given such roles but to no action. They claim to preach the word of God yet they sit in their chairs, praying idly to themselves. It is of the Creator's will that his doctrine be spread to -all- corners of his Holy Kingdom, and beyond!

I have taken upon it myself to go against tradition, to take up the Church in it's arms before it collapses into a pit of nothingness! Before the Church is but a name to be mocked by. Some may calm be false, most may call me false, but I am one of the first to take action within our Holy Kingdom in a long, long time.

Being a High Pontiff is not sitting in a dusty room or castle, but bringing more action than that of Priests. Being a High Pontiff is setting an example of the Creator's light, and spreading his love and joy. My desk lays cluttered with spite and scorn of the Church's hierarchy. We are brothers in God, not destroyed because one man sought to help the people.

And so the drums of war beat, and civil conflicts rise as soon as Zionist conflicts begin to end! What is this, waring over the false declaration of a King? Or a Priest becoming High Pontiff? I tell you, these are silly things to shed the blood of many over. I preach to the Lucienists, do not shed blood in such a holy war, where it could be saved through diplomacy. You claim to follow the Church, and yet they have not contacted with you much, leading to doing things of your own.

And so, I ask, that you at least come and discuss, so that the Kingdom may remain together. Instead of a mountain of bones, I ask for a mountain of tranquility. I may have gone against tradition, but it is those who actively seek to uphold the Creator who should be given a chance, and not those who waited long enough to be declared a High Pontiff.

For my heart and actions and true, I tell you, my best interests lie in the advancement of his light. May we unite as kin once more? The sounds of war only bring the Dark One's advancement on the Holy Kingdom of Oren! We may have our differences, but it is not enough to split a unified people. Oren stands against many challenges in this day, and unity is the best way to stand steadfast in the way of evil.

In conclusion, my dearest friends, I ask you that you take a chance to observe my actions as High Pontiff, and that my actions are in interest to the realm and the Creator's glory! I had hoped that this conflict would die out, but mans' heart grows thick. May we rule in prosperity, united under his light, as one...

At one time, High Ecclesiarch Alexios I was to be crowned for being the only priest to walk the street. Now no longer does the High position of the church ever walk the street. Oh well, Rags is dead, Ragslav doesn't care, and it seems the Anti-Pontiff has lost.
