Your View: Horse Stealing

I dunno, I think it'd be neat to earn a horse. Not keeping one though. All of my horses were killed/stolen while I was away or they were glitch killed by the server while I was riding them.

I have more of a concern with horse killing. You have log block, why not horse block? You have this plugin for keeping horses, why can't you tell who murdered someone's horse?

I have no problem with stealing horses, I just feel like it needs to be done in a fair, fun way. If a horse is found on the road the owner should be /seen to see how long they have been offline. The owner needs to be OOCly notified if they are or recently have been active (if they have been offline for a week this is obviously a grey area and probably shouldn't of left the horse sitting around). Above everything this is an RP server, whats the point of taking a horse from the road or even from a stable if there is no point in RP? Might at least make it a chance to RP with a few mates or some witnesses. The most ideal would be RPing with the owner themselves. Horses are expensive and rare, might as well make their money worth at least a little bit of RP action.

 

Point to that: Stealing horses should be allowed but come on be smart about it and make it fun for everyone involved.

I think that horses unattended should be allowed to be stolen, but I don't think people would have to file modreqs and having to wait.
