You are a priest. You shouldn't be killing even if you are attacked. You say it is hard to protect yourselves when you are being attacked. But Killing really is a last resort thing. You don't /need/ to kill someone to save yourself. You can badly injure them, or knock them out. Instead.

just got a question about that. Say they pvp you, how are you suppose to not kill them. Personally as a Cleric myself I just /no drop if they want to pvp me. Because who tells who is a bad person on the inside. are bandits bad people because they like to kill and steal from random people and even sometimes steal them into slavery. Are they evil? Personally my character thinks there is always another way, but there ARE some times when death is not avoidable. and I would like to pose a question is not being able to save a life not the same as killing them yourself?

Simple. You can do /duel, or just right click them to "show them mercy" or whatever once you've killed them.

 

Leave them brutally wounded. Take them to the clerics or something for some TLC and some nice, conversion torture or whatever you guys do over there ;)

Do you know how many times I have had that mechanic of going into bleed out fail and me just die out right and on the rare times that I do win I have mistakenly killed over 10 people that way, and just to point something out here. It doesn't really matter at all if people die not like it does in our world. People know everyone just comes back to live by the monks. I personally have been told that in rp by monks many times. So it's not really all that wrong it's like stealing something that just finds it's way back to the person you stole it from. At the end of the day nothing really changes physically.

Although this subject is dated, I would actually like to know which Clerics, by name, have been responsible for killing. This is personal interest as I myself face situations where the Church/Kingdom demands I fight neutral or lawful opponents, such as in wars where Oren is Aggressor, or Heathens who insult the Church.
