I started this topic because of the double standard.

Tah clerics can be "chaotic evil" killing anyone they wish, as confirmed by wardog himself.

Creator Clerics kill, and the whole thing gets put under a microscope and we end up /losing/ creator cleric all together.

I am expressing MY feedback, allowed to get OTHER feedback.

Clerics within the order cannot use their magic to kill.

 

Clerics can use mortal measure to kill, considering they are mortal. I.E. sword, bare hands, even natural poisons if one is so inclined.

 

You've only given one example of apparent abuse, and have no proof of it either.

 

The altercation you brought up was at the hands of a pupil.

 

There is no double standard considering we at no point defended Primrose's actions.

 

This will hopefully be my final response, anything else I anticipate to simply be fluff or blatant disregard for anything I say, for no real reason besides the fact that it challenges your own goals.

I think it's a moot point anyways. Now that Creator Clerics are Tah Clerics basically the same thing we should be allowed to do everything Tah clerics can do, simple yes?

I THINK...I could be wrong, but I think this has to do with something I heard about a cleric trying to cleanse one of Jade's scourge born. Maybe it was a "cleanse or purge" sort of thing, but that's what I heard.

 

If that's the case you're referring to, then a cleric has reason to want to purge said child, and perhaps even kill it as it would be merciful in their eyes, potentially.

But there is still the problem. As Wardog has kindly put, Clerics can kill. They can be chaotic evil if they want. And still be clerics, so long as they dont kill with their magic.

This is the exact thing I want gone. Clerics are there to heal, not kill.

That is a very poor representation. As wardog has stated, we are allowed to kill mortals, but we can only use our magic on to kill those who are deemed evil by the patron. Look closely, We can only use our magic to kill those deemed evil. If a slaver took someone prisoner and we were asked to assist, it would be up to the individual cleric's sense of morality. Now if that was a harbinger nuking a town and you asked a war cleric, you'd have trouble keeping said war cleric from suicide charging said harbinger. See the difference?

There you go, and now that Creator Clerics are the same thing lorewise as Tah clerics by logic this same rule applies to us.

It should not be up to the Clerics individual sense of morality.

 

It should be up to a predefined will of the gods. 

 

Doing evil things should have consequences, making your power less potent.
