Decree of the Wilting Rose

12th of the First Seed, 1457

It has come to the attention of the August Imperial Marshal Vibius de Sola’s conscience that a variety of persons have seen to posing as White Rose or otherwise Kaedreni veterans-in-arms, fulwell in their knowledge of the prestige therein.  This is unacceptable in the eyes of our Creator and our glorious Emperor to whom He is a grandson, and whom founded the now-disbanded Order in its origin.

Any activity pertained to such dishonorable impersonation will be met by due hammer of the Imperial court and as of this August decree made punishable in corporalis; public humiliation as defined by the standards of the August Imperial Justiciar Lothar of the House of Horen.  This includes pillorying to the stocks, flogging, caning and, in severe circumstances, stoning.

Impersonation of imperial officials may be met by death via crucifixion.

Those commoners seeking to prove themselves as legitimate White Rose veterans will have to provide proof of membership within the Order when inquired.  Membership records in the imperial archives will be consulted by the Marshal, who may conduct a series of personal tests upon the accused impersonator.
