The white haired elf, known to many as The Head Scion quickly scans the skies, her eyes closing as she lowers her head, speaking softly to herself, "After all of this, so many lives lost to the Scourge, so many sacrifices, Setherien has fallen." she raises her head, a melancholy look across her face as she shrugs and sighs. "Victory was done by the races and lances as intended, I'm not sure what impact my Scions had, even if it was little, I'm glad to have fought alongside my friends and my allies."

She quickly looks to her staff, flicking a finger as she hobbled over to the table she put upon her balcony, and she wrote what might be the final letter as Head Scion.

"Dear Scions, Lances, and anyone who may read this,

It comes with great joy and a heavy heart to write this, great joy stemming from our overall victory, and great sadness for what this now means. I'll keep it simple, now that the scourge have been expelled from this land, the Scions no longer hold purpose. We completed the task set ahead of us, with all of your help, even if our impact was minimal, I hope we helped. As I've explained endlessly, the Scions are a Bolstering group, meant to reinforce the nations who stand against the scourge.

Upon our victory this elven day, it pains me to say this, but the Scions as a group are no longer. I shall stay by the side of my family, I shall not be as out and about as I once was. But remember, no matter what happens, we must be ready to fight back any existing evil that may show. We as one are unstoppable, we together make an army no force of darkness may overwhelm. Most importantly, when we unite, we show those who spit on the belief of unity how powerful we all are.

To the Scions - We fought well, but our cause is over, rest easy, all of you.

To Oren - Deus Magnus, Ave Oren, Ave Chivay, but never forget the fallen, for they paved the way for many before your time.

To the Disciples of Sol - We fought together to make a force that was, at best, a small army, it was an honor serving with you.

To every single person not affiliated with a group - Continue to hold this memory close to your mind, and even your heart, remember how the power of unity shines brightest. Corny, I know, but its true, for in Setherien's final seconds, he knew what power was greater then his own.

Thank you,

Naeri Evaglno, Former Head Scion."

(( On a much more serious note, this may very well be my final post on the Server as a character, I am not only retiring the Scions, but myself from the server effective immediately. You can say that I'll be back soon, and you may be right, but it'll be for short periods of time. Keep it real, and great job to everyone. ))

"Looks like I ain't the only one 'oo feels the weight o' all this fightin', aye?" Kristian mutters to himself, laughing as he reads the letter. He quickly pens one in return, his quill flying across the page.

Miss Naeri,

Not a day goes by when I don't think of the Scions. Well, they did dominate my life, as did the fight against the Scourge, for many years. But I am glad to say that I was able to help, that I was able to contribute to something way beyond the scope of whatever I had dealt with before. If was an amazing way of living life. You and all the others in the Scions, and even the Sol Disciples, I am glad to call them my friends and acquaintances.

We were able to help unite Anthos. People of all races joined us and joined the fight. We were able to search for clues. We found out how Setherien and his soldiers worked. We were able to fight. I must say that, in truth, I am a coward. I am a sniveling, traitorous, evil, coward. There is no second way about it. But in the Scions, with you and all these soldiers by my side... I was able to find courage.

Courage and unity. Simple concepts, but so hard to find.

A fateful meeting in a library brought us together, my friend. I shall never forget that day.

May I see you again, in whatever life we have next.

As you elves say, Van'ayla.

-Kristian von Craw

Wiping his eyes slightly, he sends off the message.

"Oi... don't do that. You're a soldier..." he mutters to himself, walking back inside.

((Best of luck in life, mate. Hope to see you around! Stay chill.))

Exalted Speaker Aret comes across one of these letters, standing on the top of the Fortress of the Sentinels. He reads it through three times, thinking it over. He says nothing, and instead clasps his hands together behind his back, staring out across the land.

Aret stands there for a long while, twice having to reassure his Sentinels that he is indeed, feeling 'as well as can be expected.'

Eventually he carefully scripts a note. It has very few words and is to the point, much like himself, Aret thinks calmly with a tiny flash of amusement across his emotionless face.

"Former Head Scion;

With the voluntary disbandment of your order, you have shown that power over others means little to you, and that the removal of the Scourge truly was at the heart of your order. For that, you are one to be declared as enlightened to the True Balance. I hope your journeys take you places which will benefit yourself. May The Vision watch over you.

-Exalted Speaker Aret"

The Exalted Speaker sends it off with a bird. He quietly continues to stare out into the growing night.

A voice may be heard to those that were listening, alas, all nearby were asleep.

"Let the Vision take this one as enlightened..."

Good luck in whatever you choose to do with your life.

Maris does not reply to the message, she merely laughs in something akin to contempt and burns the note.

"The blind lead the blind off a cliff. Leadership was not her strong suit, maybe she'll do something worthwhile with her life now."

She returns to her forbidden books.

Farewell once again, Vardak. Fair travels and may you find peace in whatever you do. Twas fun while it lasted.

The Oogie Boogie Man laughs "AAaaaah! The great wyrm has been defeated! Now I'm alone again, it was proud to support him at it's finest and by the way...I never saw any Scions around so hide back into your corner! And smell the cheese of present day!"

((Bye!:3)
