You must first go to Oren, and bind you SS to there pillar. The command is posted right next to their pillar, so you just approach the pillar, and type the proper command. You must buy a home through RP, considering you are new you may not be able to afford a home right away, especially in Oren. Ask around, find a job in the city, and things should work out well from there.

Ah, you must first travel to Oren and bind your soulstone there! /ss bind (slot number) is the command.

 

For getting a house, talk to people in RP! They shall point you to whoever manages that!

Your first question: I THINK that all players without donating have two soul stone slots. You can check this by holding your soul stone and shift-right clicking to cycle through the options. You'll get "home" and "unused" or something if I'm right. In that case, simply walk up to your desired soul stone pillar (those emerald things) hold your soul stone, type in the command /ss bind 1 and it should work.

 

To get a house you either build it yourself, but don't grief or anything and make sure it's pretty, or do it the way most people do. Go find the place you want to live and talk to people In Character. Role play trying to find a place to live in say, Oren. I think they call the people who deal with houses "Stewards". 

 

Explain OOCly that you're new and they should be welcoming enough :)

The soulstone will take you to where you have it bound. As it is now, players without VIP of a certain level have their first soulstone slot, slot 0, bound to the Cloud Temple and slot 1 bound to wherever they bind it. You'll have to go to the Orenian capital and bind it there if you wish a soulstone slot there.

 

To buy a house, you have to go through roleplay and ask stewards or fill out an application.

On the topic of claiming a home, you will more than likely wish to speak to someone in a position of power, (all in RP, of course). You can ask this person, probably a Steward or Lord, about buying a home, or gaining one in some other fashion.
