I only auto age my elven character because it doesn't matter about inactivity or how much you play. If you auto age a human and you go inactive for a week or two suddenly your age has jumped up and you miss out too much RP. Which is not cool.

Good point, I edited the poll accordingly. I regret auto-ageing my human char.

Not really.

If your age is say 30 as a human you've got (assuming people age once every week, Idk how it works) you've got about 50 years/weeks (nearly a year!) of looking sexy and young before you hit middle age at about 70-80 years old. Then old age is about 120-130, another 50ish years/year of looking slightly less sexy, and then 20-30 years of being a grandpa.

The rate at which you age as a human does not change at all, just because you can age until 150 doesn't mean that you remain young for longer. If you created a soldier character, for example, it kills a lot of your RP to age it while you're gone and a lot of time bonding and building friendships, rivalries or whatever with your group (as an example).

I don't autoage my characters anymore because the thing ages my characters way too fast to keep up with it. I have a character who I started autoaging at 15ish, now not even 2 weeks later she's 19 years old.

Not true. Jistuma LoreMastertm told me a little while ago that the aging slows for humans.

Aging isn't the same for humans in LotC as it is in real life. We follow different rules, magic etc.

Yes, I do. Well, if we go technical, I don't put it on. My character has a twin and he puts her on auto-age, I just follow to keep balance.

I do, because you can age past 1000 with it on, and I wanted to be the oldest of them all.

Moved to the Great Library. It shall be sorted into appropriate category shortly.
