Simppa 25 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Greetings fellow Lords of the Craft! I made this topic to show my Minecraft & Lord of the Craft related work. Showcase and fan art combined. This is my third (3rd.) day of using blender and I'm hoping for constructive criticism and feedback of my completed and WIP (Work In Progress) animations and pictures. I have a youtube channel where I do upload my test and completed animations, feel free to subsribe and leave comments. You can also comment those videos in this topic. This is my first LotC related render, please tell me what you think. If you absolutely want to, you can leave me ideas and requests of renders. Rigs I use are made by VMComix http://vmcomix.blogspot.ca/

Emp 209 Share Posted May 13, 2014 I'm not familiar at all with these processes, but I have a question.. Is it possible to overlay facial animations on IG footage (close-ups of an MC head)?
SodaiKamikaze 652 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Love the Dwarf VS Elf render, really looks nice Simppa. You should do a render of the dwarven legion lined up rank and file from an aerial view :D
Simppa 25 Author Share Posted May 13, 2014 I'm not familiar at all with these processes, but I have a question.. Is it possible to overlay facial animations on IG footage (close-ups of an MC head)? As far as I know; no. It might be possible to edit video clips of facial animations on in-game footage.... Can't tell for sure but I'm afraid you need to use animations if you want facial animationss on your characters.Have you not heard? Im Grumpy Grandpa Hiebe aka Catfish Hunter. I have nothing positive to say! (Looks good, dwarven clan battle animation please!) I'll consider that :)
gabriel101x1 463 Share Posted May 13, 2014 I'm not familiar at all with these processes, but I have a question.. Is it possible to overlay facial animations on IG footage (close-ups of an MC head)? It is. You can track MC faces in footage with mocha and use that to apply a render of a facial animation to them.

Charles_Grimlie 1072 Share Posted May 14, 2014 Dwarve need thicker eye brows, shouldn't be hard to resize the model. Not sure what it'll do to that rig's skeleton though.
Simppa 25 Author Share Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Simppa why u private videos. :[ Oh, now it is published :) Sorry for that! Dwarve need thicker eye brows, shouldn't be hard to resize the model. MamaBearJade 2090 Share Posted May 15, 2014 For your walk cycle, look at walking videos. It seems to show no balance or shift in weight making him look a little stiff ^^;;
