(A new Orc Clan emerges from the ruins of Krugistan, The Balrug.)

(The short version of the long events.)

"Upon slaying the War-Boar and burning the beasts heart in the Far-seer's flame as a sacrifice to Neizdark, the curse upon Krugistan would be lifted. Zruk, Ogrul, and Glumpuz would emerge from the ruins; changed forever. Neizdark responds to the Uruk's efforts with a lightning strike upon the sands in front of the Shaman Grothmar's, tent. Which sits on a hill far above Krugistan. Zruk and Grothmar had noticed the Sand had turned to glass, Zruk would be requested by Grothmar, as the leader of the hunt, to retrieve the shards of glass."

"Upon collecting the shards, the palm of Zruk's hand would begin to burn, but he would feel no pain. Suddenly the shards of glass begin to bend and contort, taking the form of a dagger. Zruk and Grothmar, both awe-stricken with Neizdarks' response, would look to the now clear city, the storms could be seen slipping away behind the distant mountain tops, never to be seen again. Zruk grips the hilt of the dagger firmly, looking out over the long abandoned city of Krugistan."

"Zruk's original plan would begin to unfold before his eyes. Zruk would look to Grothmar, stating he wishes to start a new Clan. Grothmar would support Zruk's decision, but offers little guidance. Zruk and Grothmar depart to their tents, to ponder the events that had taken place. The following morning, Zruk would gather Ogrul, and Glumpuz in the Shamans tent, a clay bowl placed in the center of the hut. Zruk would begin the ritual, drawing his Glass Dagger which glows with an alien-magic, Zruk would step forward."

"Zruk raises his arm above the bowl, gently sliding the dagger over his palm. He would note, the skin around the wound would quickly change into a dark, charcoal-like color. Zruk clinches his fist, blood dripping into the clay bowl, he would pass the dagger to Ogrul, whom steps forward doing the same. The dagger is finally passed to Glumpuz, then back to Zruk. Zruk would lift the bowl over his head, taking a long drink of the blood that lies within. The other Uruk's do the same."

"Upon the completion of the ritual, Zruk looks to Ogrul and Glumpuz. Zruk states today is the founding of the 'Balrug' clan, and that the inhabitants of the known-lands would come to fear, and respect them. Zruk would then state, unlike most Orc clans, that the 'Balrug' clan would be consisted of three leaders; Zruk, Glumpuz, and Ogrul. Zruk also states, that unlike the other Orc's, for now he wishes to make peace with the other races. The three then depart the tent, venturing into the 'Balrug' claimed city to begin rebuilding and fortification."

(STILL A WIP)

(OOC information about the clan, and myself.)

Initially, the clan was founded do to the fact that living by spawn was just a horrible idea, not to mention it isn't the neatest looking place.  Upon rediscovering the abandoned city of Krugistan, I thought of taking advantage of it. Narthok, Kaon, and myself soon decided it was also time for a new clan; considering there is no real Orc leadership at the moment, (Well there kind of is, I guess. But the RP kind of sucks over there because of the constant PVP.) Anyway, to make a long story short, I believe I am more than capable of leading a Clan. I have more than enough experience in leading RP 'Guilds', prior to coming to LOTC I found myself wasting away on a World of Warcraft Role-Playing server, I was the leader, and the Dungeon-Master for the servers most successful guild, 'The North-Fall Protectorate." Which consisted of well over 200 active RPers that had to make an application to join.

BUT YEAH, BRUDDAHZ! This whole clan thing is in early-early development. I am already putting tons of planning into it with the aide of Narthok and Kaon, who I think are more than capable of helping me lead this clan. I believe our clan will be a refreshing and exotic play on Orc RP, and we hope to create a thriving, living Orc Community.
