Borsa Ioann rose from his bed. It had been weeks since he had arrived in Vekaro. Weeks since he had been named an ordained kaplan of the parish. Weeks since his terrible fever left him bedridden. His fever gone now, he knew it was his day to offer blessings to this town's confused and misled people. Godan would guide him and he would by intercession guide them. He laced his travelling boots around his crippled, grotesque foot, walked carefully down the stares, and opened the door to the town hall where he was staying, prepared to tread in the light of Godani!

 

 

 

Ioann frowned. A dead baby bunny. Upon the very bricks of Vekaro where he would tread. He would not exaggerate such luck. He took it for an omen, that the death of such an innocent, yet stupid creature meant the death of both innocence and foolishness in Vekaro. These people would no longer revel in ignorance. Though, their enlightenment would be painful. Ioann stepped over the bunny, and walked onward to his church. There he rang the bells, summoning the strelts for mass.

If you're wondering where I got that picture, it's from my driveway. I went to get in my car for school and this is what greeted me on my doorstep. I decided it was about high time to hold a mass, after I finished laughing. This mass will be held at Saint Bogdan's Chapel in Vekaro on Thursday at six o'clock eastern standard time. The mass will be following a pretty loose, traditional ruskan orthodox liturgy that I've used several times before. Hopefully it won't be long, and it will end in the mob yelling and going to kill stuff. Hey, that's up to you. Either way, I will see you on Thursday my fellow Raevirs! All Orthodoxy and fellow Creationists are welcome!
