Silver Tears Fall: A Second Declaration

You may think you hold some semblance of honor but I assure you after all these events it is quite clear to everyone in this realm including the sky gods, that the bortu are corrupt beings who act selfishly and think only of their own follies.

Wulfgar grumbles to himself as he states plainly.

"T'en t'e sky gods can guh **** 'emselves."

((I find it quite hypocritical of you to tell him to face IC with IC when the high elven playerbase OOCly whined its way out of a dwarven ultimatum in Anthos despite perfectly legitimate RP reasoning. I had to personally face a barrage of criticism for no good reason when I tried to get you guys out of this same war. Since then, I've tried for a while now to ensure the dwarves respected your playerbase's belief in peaceful RP. If we want to justify our IC actions here, keep it to IC. Not OOC.))

"Eh 'ave nae seen eh 'oigh elf foightin 'es, all eh see are 'oigh elves suckling on teh pity t'at Oren gives 'em. Eh would loike teh see eh battle w'er onleh 'oigh elves arrive. T'en, t'en ye can say ye declare war."

Rap'lur asks the dwarves how they got into the high elven city, as he wants to put a pie stand there

((just... you lost the right to use ooc to wardec when you denied 5 warclaims in a row

and if 30326 xrayd why is he gm?))

((That is our point of view and the IC consequences from that are that the HE's don't trust the dwarves. However this is about the broken treaty and you are right. Those past OOC actions aren't going to bleed into the current situation. Only what has happened IC as of late will be the trigger for the HE's to go to war.

We aren't trying to get revenge OOCly but I am not going to sit around while the dwarven playerbase continue to whine about the HE's. If you guys are going to whine about a war we copped out of. I will whine about the xraying that sparked the war. It can be as simple as just leaving both of those things behind because the two go hand-in-hand. In the past we weren't just trying to save our asses. We just wanted a valid reason to potentially lose everything we had. We were not given that in our eyes. We fought with OOC because we were attacked with OOC from our perspective.))

*Iatrilemar slowly polishes the steel. The glimmering metal yet untarnished by crimson tears.* "This blade shall do quite nicely."

Wulfgar sharpens his own war axe after a failed raid by the Orenians. He looks over the battlements towards the towers of the High Elven city, wondering to himself when further bloodshed will come.

((I would just like to state that the dwarf you claim x-rayed was not even on the server at the time this ultimatum was given. Nor did it have anything to do with why that post was made. I feel you ended up getting upset with the wrong people. Either way, I won't continue arguing about the past. The present is the present and if you honestly feel the dwarves have wronged you ICly, I'm not one to say otherwise.))

((30326 xrayed and duped, but that is irrelevant, what's done is done. ))

((In my eyes it was simply that. A chain of events that seemed to coincide against us from our perspective. This caused the whole warclaim issue in the past. It's not that we like to bring it up but when basically being told we weren't justified at the time belittles us because at the time we did feel justified. I agree though. It's the past. I am hoping whatever comes from this will provide interesting RP for both sides.))
