Renovation Of Eastgate

The sound of hammers hitting nails and clattering boards and tiles alike into the rooftops overhead rang out, replacing the normal and quiet serenity of the small farming village. Carts hustled around as in the middle of the square laid a makeshift bench and tables, blueprints and sketches slung out among the table in a cluttered mess. Count Stafyr loomed over the table, furrowing his brow and letting out regular hums and the odd nod as he muttered to himself inspecting his own plans. Glancing his gaze up he looked about the town, the construction completed and the town completely renovated. His furrowed brow lifted and a smile formed once more as the townsmen began finishing off the roof slating to the new tavern being installed. He nodded his thanks towards them and received an energetic wave and a ‘hail mi’lord’ back before they got back to their labor based workings.

 

Spinning on his heel Symon began to take down route towards the new farm walls that were being laid out stone by stone by the heavy and well built workers who knew nothing more then how to use brute strength. He gifted them yet another nod and continued his way to the newly redesigned Eastgate.

 

“New lord, new lands… Another step forwards.”

Farley walks around the village, looking at all the people moving about as he smiles to himself, looking over to the guard accompanying him "Symon will make a better lord then I ever was, just look at this" he motions around him before going to browse one of the shops.

The Imperial Chamberlain walks down the gravel-strewn path, admiring the recent renovations. Upon seeing a man bedecked in Stafyr yellow and green, he stops him and to say, "Send my congratulations to the Lord Stafyr. The actions he's taken since receiving his title and station have been most encouraging. My dearest wife Cecilia will be most happy about the resurgence of her family."
