*The word sweeps through many ears, tales of settlement after settlement succumbing to a fast developing illness, eventually making its way to the hollowed walls of Castle Bealcrest and to the attention of Hochmeister Mirtok.

 

"We've been through something very similar to this before, we are prepared."

 

*He issues a series of orders to his Sariants, old copies of Operation Black Curtain are retrieved from scarcely used shelves and dusted off, building materials are quickly prepared for use and shipped out to secure a perimeter with. The normally tranquil and quiet alchemy and study labs are injected with a flurry of moving hands and searching eyes. The keep bustles with intense activity as the Sariants of the Order carry out their assignments. Mirtok turns to his more ranking officials and commanders, taking a sharp swig from his personal flask before speaking . . .

 

"The Order is not equipped to take on this infection like we could so long ago. I fear the golden age of our scientific achievements is an age since past. But we shall make do, there are people out there who are counting on us to bring them some form of alleviation and that is exactly what we shall do. Brother Hawke and Medic Leopold have begun experimentation towards a remedy for this disease. We have a handful of others trying to create protective clothing from it as well. I'm unsure as to what they will be able to turn up, that is why I have supplemental plans just in case."

 

*Mirtok pauses for a moment and reaches behind him, bringing forth a small, blue, leather-bound book featuring an imprinted Black Cross and a gold lettered title labeled 'Isoliereg uened chistkig' . . .

Sariant Hawksong nods as the meeting is over, he heads back to his room, grabbing some books from the shelves before heading towards the alchemy room. He grabs whatever regents he can, before mixing together whatever he thinks might cure this plague. As the gates of Castle Bealcrest is shut, he waves goodbye to the outside world, before popping a piece of candy into his mouth and pretending it'll be okay.

Sighs a long sigh after breaking formation, heading to the chapel and repeating

Ramza Mantisuku sighs after the meeting. "How troublesome..looks like I might get some sleep..no war..or fight.." He walks to his room in the keep. Ramza lays on his bed and looks up to the ceiling. "Well..now I can't watch the clouds..."

In the lobby, Titania unrolls a set of newly issued blueprints. She nods slightly, donning a filter mask and striding into the living quarters, shouting for Sariants to get their tools ready.

"This is going to be a long day…" She mumbles through the filter, disappearing down the stairwell.
