Upon the founding of the city of Ker’lomi, an order was formed to protect it from the dangers of the Fringe.

By order of Dak’ir Des’nox, they were Div’cruan, or ‘Those Who Are Devoid of Pain.’

 

The Div’cruan hold their name for a reason, for they are truly devoid of pain. This is not without reason, as the Mali’ker know that pain brings woe, and woe, in turn, brings ruin. Those who join the Div’cruan must never succumb to the pain they may endure in service to Ker’lomi.

 

 

The Ranking Structure

 

 

Fi’taliiyna - new blood.

The backbone to the guards, the newest to be initiated into the Div’cruan. The Fi’taliiyna have only basic guard duties.

Ihnsil’ikur - Grey Spear

The sergeants of the guard. They mind the gates and may take  command of the Fi’taliiyna in absence of the Riv’tahu.

Riv’tahu - High Claw

The commanders of the guardforce. They initiate new Fi’taliiyna, can rank Fi’taliiyna to Ihnsil’ikur and generally run training. The Riv’tahu are expected to run the guard force together.

The orders of the Div’cruan

 

OEM:

The Mali’ker have been oppressed for generations upon generations. We know the cold grip of genocide, and through our suffering we have achieved wisdom. Although the other races may be violent and spiteful, we should not be ourselves. There shall be no prejudice in the hearts of Eldiv’cruan.

 

NIUT:

The Mali’ker value strength and power, but we do not use excessive amounts of force. Break the bones of your enemies and make them kneel, but do not presume to shatter their soul!

Eldiv’cruan shall restrain themselves from using unnecessary force.

 

HAEL:

Those of Mali’ker blood have known vigilantes throughout its time upon this world, both of their get and of others.

Chaos will not be tolerated.

Vigilantes will NOT be tolerated.

 

VAILU:

There are Mali’ker who give a bad reputation to the race as a whole. The psychopaths and sociopaths of the Mali’ker are to be rooted out, healed, reintegrated into society, or killed by the Div’cruan.

Eldiv’cruan will hunt down the damned and blighted, as well as help them.

 

KULIN:

Love separates elf from beast. Know it, Eldiv’cruan. Keep it in your hearts, and you shall feel its warmth in return.

The Div’cruan will show kindness and compassion whenever possible.

Jiub walks past the applications, and skims through the massive pile of one paper. A smirk comes to his face as he folds it, putting it into his pocket and walking off to find this Ker.
