Asgoslav sits upon his bench, sipping an ale after a long day of work. He is happy, for his design has been completed.

 

The design was a contraption to bring his dear Prince Robert chivay to safety, away from the plague.

 

After consulting the great engineers of Oren and stealing tech from the Dwarven Scientists....

 

Asgoslav has designed the great contraption of the century!

 

 

By using Hot Air from a fire, Asgoslav has designed a hot-Air Balloon!

 

Although he disbelieves that more than one can be made due to the sheer value of the materials required to make it, it is possible to make a zeppelin to bring his liege to safety from the plague!

 

More things are coming to this airship, perhaps ways to make it withing the elven month!

 

 

((Yes, this is a little silly, but the dwarves have had an airship before, so we want one too.

with all lore regulations and considering a hot air balloon isn't really that advanced, I believe that it is possible to make it in the fringe, but it would take a huge amount of effort to make even one.))

All of a sudden the large ship catches on fire, flames spread from stern to sail and all about the ship. Soon it is entirely engulfed in flames and embers fly off, scattering about the nearby country side. One such ember lands upon the schematics, rendering the machine a happy accident which can never be replicated. Oh how cruel fate is!

A group of holy mages approach the landed construct and grasp their hands together, shutting their eyes as they began to focus and chant a prayer before the merciful creator, asking for this construct to give flight. As their magic begins to poor into the construct, it soon starts to float upwards, now powered by the immense magic, religion, and love. People begin to climb aboard the zeppelin, and it soon floats higher and higher into the air, and once it gets high enough, out of reach from other infected, the mages stop their chanting and keep the floating zeppelin floating there. Magic is the key, and now Oren's nobles and healthy citizens are saved. Mages can surely do anything, so thus meaning they can make **** fly.

The Mages help the construct into the air, as the world around them turns from a murky grey to a bright, vivid blue as they ascend above the clouds. They congratulate each other, as  they will find the clerics setting up a shop at the monastery below.

The Few below hold the walls, making sure the clerics encamped to ensure the safety of the balloon are free from peril.
