A Letter To The Mages Guild

Dear Leader(s) of the Mages Guild or whatever you refer to yourselves as,

I have noticed an alarming rate of various elves passing through the gates to reach your organization. This is worrying to say the least due to the hostile relationships currently being had between the Dwedmar Nation and those of the City of Silver. I wish to ask if you would provide a list of names of those not associated with the Silver City, to turn those who ally themselves with the enemy away from the area without fail. If you are unable to do so, whether it be due to your policies or beliefs, I will accept such and act accordingly.

A letter written upon fine parchment is returned to the Lord Chancellor.

To Lord Chancellor, Dared Starbreaker,

I thank you for your letter and recognize the concern you and your people may have. I myself have been halted and even attacked in one instance at the gates of Kal'Arkon, for no apparent reason. The tension between those of Urguan and those of Haelun'or has been certainly been growing. However, our students and staff alike are all required to attend mandatory lessons and lectures to continue their studies. If the members of our Guild all agree to abide by the laws of Urguan and Alras  I see no reason why they should be denied entry to reach our halls. The Mages Guild currently stands neutral on this quarrel between Urguan and Haelun'or. If student, or staff, is found to be breaching the rules of Urguan or Alras, they will be punished accordingly. I hope this reassures yourself and others of your council.

Sincerely,
Archmage Ceruberr Asul'Ailer
