Waverly Antoinette 68 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Ever build something like a house or gigantic mansion and beam with pride, only to realise you have absolutely no idea how to design the interior? ...okay yes that's me. I haven't found a thread like this as far as I've checked, so I decided to make a thread where you may post your designs for say, a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a library, a creepy murder dungeon, that sort of thing! I'll be especially thankful if any of them help strike inspiration!
Space 2335 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Here's a basement to a tavern I was building in singleplayer for a bit. I did have it with barrels and stuff, but I kinda like it better empty.
MagikalCookie 1 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Why the default texture pack? (My brain refuses to let me call them resource packs for some reason unknown to me) Please use a texture pack, It makes EVERYTHANG betar.. Kay? I personally like to use either A'therys ascended or...... no actually only A'therys Ascended. However ANYTHANG is better than default. Link to A'therys Ascended Textu- Resource Pack: http://atherys.com/pack Other Tex- Resource Packs are available http://resourcepack.net/

Best to start with the basics. Also, this thread is for interior design... not texture packs... let us stay on topic.

Cirdanoth 190 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Well.. Interiors generally aren't high on my list of things to take screenshots of... But I do have one, be it pretty old. I generally need to agree with the notion that one should always build in default. If something looks decent in it, the chance of it looking good in a texturepack is high. Also.. Depth is important. You don't want a bunch of flat surfaces without anything there to grab attention. Colour helps, in general. Also, try'n spruce up ceilings and floors. They're often forgotten.
