I'm about to start creating my skin ( I like to make my own ever since I made Sal and Alfred ( My picture ) ) , to start working on the application, and I was wondering, would Halfbloods be alright? I was thinking of my character either being a Drow ( Dark Elf, I'm used to calling them Drow though ) , or a mixture of High Elven and Woodland blood

 

Would that be alright? Two very impatient and rebellious Elves have a child that is a Halfblood. Also, where would he belong, really? I haven't fully looked over every single thing on the site, but I've looked at the rules, glanced at the application sheet, read about the Elves.. I just need a little help in creating him. Like I said on my profile, I have a ton of ideas swimming about in my mind.. I don't always know what to do for characters

  Welcome to the server. Half-blooded characters are allowed, though depending on where your character goes you may be banished or killed (especially if you're part High Elf in the current day elven nation called Haelun'or.) However, I do know that other nations do accept them.

 

  Regarding making a character, just try and find a character you feel like playing. Though some people do look down upon people who play characters such as assassins and the like, it is allowed. You could just try and find what you like to do in Minecraft and base your character on the profession around it. You could also find a profession that you think would be fun to roleplay. The possibilities are quite large.

Hm.. I would love the forbidden mixture of High and Drow..~ But, I'm actually in a more peaceful mood, so I don't want someone with a sour attitude.. 

Oh, it's so hard~

And I've made so many characters it should be easy :P 

 

 

I want one with silver hair, maybe red or blue eyes, and either a more pale skin, or a darker skin that borders tan or grey.. Which would be more likely in the world, a Drow-High, High-Woodland, or a Drow-Woodland? 

 

I also have a few characters that I just love, but he's an Avariel, a winged Elf that isn't from 'this world', you could say in terms of this lore and whatnot. I'm reading up on the more indepth things for all the Elves

  The character you're describing sounds sort of like a Dark Elf/High Elf cross, which has probably happened before. As for your character called Avariel, you could probably use him if you adapted his back story to the lore of the server and removed his wings. Don't quote me though as I'm not a member of the application team. 

 

  Also, if you haven't looked at the wiki, I recommend you do. If you want, these links could also help with your Elf character and some information regarding the current Elven nation and their culture.

I have yet to read the High Elves at the moment, on the Wiki. That's where I've been reading things with the races and all. And maybe.. But my Glam is too peaceful and sweet for a place with war.. Plus his wings aren't even as good as they used to be, due to his encounter with a 'Wing Hunter', Humans or any races enemies of the Avariels that hunt them down and normally kill them for their feathers, though normally they only come in shades of black, or very rarely colors of Birds'. 

*I have to make up a lot of information for my Elven characters, due to the lack of information. I'm loving reading about yours though~ * 

 

How 'hated' would he be? If he was of that mix? And would his parents kind of abandoning him, or being given to another family or something, be fine? 

 

And this site's version of Drow are so calm, really. It's amazing. I learned from different sites that Drow were ( mostly ) rude, hating other races, mostly halfbloods, and were more fond of normal combat and magic

  I gathered that when you said Avariel, it was your character name but it turns I was mistaken. When I meant you could use him as your character I mean you could use his personality and his appearance (minus the wings of course) as your character on this server. you'd just have to also give him a back story relating to the server as previously mentioned.

 

  I'm glad you enjoyed reading my character's back stories, I hope it helps you.

 

  If he is mixed sub-race Elf within Haelun'or he would be most likely purged to be honest. And by purging I mean being killed on sight. If your character's parents gave away your character to another family, that is fine to my knowledge. However, the application team may deny those who have their parents die within their biography/back-story.

Nuu, they don't like the lovely Yaoi to happen. That's just mean cx But, nothing to blame, really. 

And his name is Glamordir. Avariel is just the name of the race c: 

 

And hmm... Would you know anyone that would take in a young halfblood, who is probably about 18-20 years of age? His birth parents won't be dead, just unknown, really, since I myself have no idea who they would be. Plus most of my characters are more of the loner type, given away or just running away. It might be fun to have an adoptive family in the picture 

 

And honestly, all I'm missing is a name, and 'race'. I have the hair color, eye color, personality.. Backstory to a certain degree.. 

 

And I need to create the skin. In all honesty, I would love for him to have an adoptive family, even if it's just one person, or a childless couple that decided to take him in

  The best thing to do regarding finding an adoptive family would probably be to ask on the forums or find someone in game. I personally play a pure High Elf so I can't really help with it, sorry. As for race, simply just pick a subrace that best suits your character. The wiki provides a basic description of each and if you still like the idea of having a mixed subrace Elf, then just pick which one you like. As for the skin you can go search a skin site or post a request on the forum. I could give it a try, but my skills with skinning are rather rusty at this time.

It's hard to read that 'Guide to Dark Elves' thing.. The font.. Is awful.. And I've been up for a while as well. Not helping. 

 

I suppose I'll have to do that, head to the forms before posting my thing, which is annoying since I really want to get on it tonight, er, today, since it's almost 4am *-*

  Apparently there is a post in the Dark Elves thread which contains the same information but is much easier to read, but upon finding it I could not read it too well either. As for finding a family, you could also just find someone through role-play to care for your character if you do not feel like doing it tonight. Or you could just say you were adopted by a family in your application then ask on the froums later if you want to get the application over and done with, that is allowed to my knowledge.

just stay pure dark elf. Half-bloods aren't that special or unique really, and you'll get more trouble than anything. Pure dark elf would be better

That's why I'm not using Glam, because of his winged race. It's just not him if he doesn't have the wings, so I must put him aside in favor of working on a new character. 

 

And I know they're nothing special to most, but I love halfbloods more than the pure bloods normally. They're hated, ignored.. And some can be better than those of their parent's blood, or worse, since I have both. On is a Human-Drow mix and he's.. Just awful. A rude little thing that loves to steal.. But, Thadon is not who I want to use, nor do I want to make a character like him.. 

 

Either way, I want him to be adopted by someone.. 

 

 

And completely random, but I just love your picture. It is just adorable and I want to hug him.
