A Broken Journal

[!]

An unfinished journal sticks halfway out of various libraries, not assorted in any categorical order, as if placed there by foreign hand.

Creator glory to his name and his people

[!] A few pages are torn out towards the end, and what appears to be diagrams that have received a blotch of ink smear and obscuring them from vision.

The Purity Derangement

Ghoul Fever

[!] The last pages of the journal seem to document an experiment, pages are missing and a proper account can not be gathered from the skewed remains.

A robed figure moves through a library, his robes fluttering in the wind as the opened door allows passage, his sapphire blue robes seem to gleam brightly, albeit the moon did not shine on this night.

Electricity pulsed from this creature- his blue eyes glowing brightly in the darkness of the enclosed space, his long pale fingers tracing over one book at a time before being stopped by the book half-protruding from the shelf, he sneers at it's integrity to get in his way as he had been looking.. and then notices that it bares no name.

The High-Elf slides it's finger up the length of the spine of the book and tugs it down by the cover- ever so gently so it falls into his awaiting hand- being grasped tightly. The creature walks through the rest of the library, the book opened in his right hand while he wipes away the dust on the shelves with his left.

A sneer curls upon the lips of the High-Elven mage as his voice ecohs into the darkness.

"Interesting.."

Guy Silsbury picks up a copy of these documents in the Tempum area Barnum et Nobelum. He leaves notes on the pages in order to guide those who see them later.

(1).

  •  This theory is baseless. The morality of Humanity, at least, is that of Our Creator. There would be no concept of right and wrong without a model.
  •  Our Creator is undoubtedly sentient, for the realm that we live in has natural order and laws given to us. It is not subject to inexplainable anomalies and "entropy".

(2).

  • Purity is of the mind and spirit, but degenerate acts leave visible signs on degenerates. The author of this document most likely thinks these signs are normal, as he could not detect any.
  • The author makes a harsh jab at the pure and devout. Possibly a literally butthurt sodomite.

(3).

  • This is a research log of some kind of poison being used on living targets.
  • If this experiment was conducted by the author of either documents, his authority on purity and Our Creator is made null.
