What do you think the server will be like? -  A fun, roleplaying experience where I will have fun adventures and be a part of cool stories.

What is roleplaying?: - When you assume and act like a character, doing their actions and performing as they would.

 

What’s metagaming?: -  When you use outside information to benefit your in game character

 

What’s powergaming?: -  When you do actions in roleplay that overdone and too powerful for your character to the disenjoyment of others.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Ulric was born in a small village outside of the Orenian capital of Kaledonia to two poor peasant farmers that worked to just get by. He also had two brothers and two sisters.  Every day he would work the farms with his whole family, because they were big fields and a lot of work for only his father. His older brother, Ragnik, was like his best friend. In their free time they would always hang out and play games and practice sword-fighting with sticks.

However, one day, it all changed. Ulric and his older brother, Ragnik were playing out in the forest when they heard shrieks and cries of terror coming from his village and a sense of fear came across him as he looked to his brother. They both immediately began to ran back to their home only to come to across a ghastly scene. Their buildings were all on covered in wheat and hay. Everything was covered in wheat and hay. Their house, their farming equipment, and even their dog,  Lucky. Ulric and his brother were flabbergasted by the sight and could not find their parents anywhere. They searched and searched and finally in some of the hay bales, they stumbled across their father, still breathing slightly. His body was covered in a bloody hay, rather it seemed as if his body WAS hay.  Next to his body lied all of his family all strewn in hay, motionless, bloody. He turned to his father as he slowly let out to Ulric “So….small….such…..good…..farmers….run Ulric.” He suddenly hear a noise behind him and turned around to where his brother was standing, but nothing was there. His brother had disappeared.  In the tree line he could see  what appeared to be  small little figures carrying what looked like shovels. They slowly closed in on Ulric and what he saw astonished him. They were….halflings. Ulric knew that they were great farmers, but this, this was a whole new level and it terrified them. As their short, tiny builds moved closer to him, Ulric continued to back up. However, a quick knock on his head came swiftly and he was unconscious.

Ulric awoke to see his brother captured, bloody and almost lifeless beside him along with the rest of his dead family inside a tiny cage. They traveled for days before they reached a vast farmland. The Halflings immediately opened the cage and threw Ulric out, whom was covered in hay and unable to move. Two of the Halflings forced him over to the fields and handed him a hoe and forced him to work the fields. For ten long years he worked those fields. He worked them through sweat, blood and tears, for he had found the secret to Halfling farming and why they were so good. His first day there, the Halflings had churned his families bodies and used them as fertilizer. He was so frightened, yet he knew he had to stay strong. By the time he was eighteen he no longer knew he could stay a slave. He had been practicing to fight with the hoes he had been given.

The day had come; he flung on his hood and slung his hoes that he had sharpened to his sides. As he walked out of his slave quarters, he slowly approached the first Halfling, silently, and snapped its neck. He looked down at the motionless Halfling and a face of satisfaction came upon it with a little smirk.  He retreated back to the shadows as a Halfling patrol approached, carrying their mighty war hoes. They approached the body in confusion and Ulric used this chance and jumped off the roof he had climbed, double assassinating both of them with his dual hoes. He saw his chance at this point and ran for the exit. A quick scene of Halflings could be seen finding the dead bodies in the corner of his eyes and then saw Ulric. They immediately sent off the alarms and started firing bales of hay from their mini catapults at Ulric. But, Ulric had trained for this day and was fast. He successfully  dodged all of the hay bales and made his way into the bordering forests. Running for days, he finally took a break and made a camp. A sign of relief came across Ulric as he realized the coast was clear. He was free at last. Ten whole years. And now he was free.

This was not the end for Ulric…he had revenge… a bale full of revenge.

 

What are they like? (personality): - He has become hardened after years and years of slave labor. He can be compassionate to those that are friendly to them, but fierce to his enemies. He has a blood rage against Halflings for killing his family and enslaving him.

 

What are their ambitions?: - His ambitions are to kill all of the Halflings and avenge his family.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  He can use swords from his training from hoes and has become quite agile. He can also farm very well, due to his enslavement. He cannot use a bow very well and does not know how to swim.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - He is average height, with black hair and gray eyes. He has many scars across his back from the lashings from the haflings.

While vastly different from the Orc Revenge plots that are the major cliche on this server, at its core this is still a "____ killed my family now I must take revenge on their whole race" application

 

Also, I don't believe Haflings typically take slaves.
