What is roleplaying?: - The act of taking on a role and forming a character. It includes adopting the mindset and characteristics of said character.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Applying what you yourself know and changing what the in-game character knows. For example: You could be friends with someone irl, and learn something about an upcoming event in the game. Your in-game character shouldn't know about this. Metagaming is violating this rule.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Arteen's parents (a High Elf mother and a Dark Elf father) were from Ravenhold, the small mining town in the Holy Princedom of Malinor. They met there. Arteen's mother a vacationer from Laurelin, and his father a mere miner. Arteen was conceived in Elandriel. Arteen grew up with a caring, quiet mother, and a father who was no where to be found. He has no idea where he is, and his mother will not say. At the age of 7, Arteen lost his leg from a sawmill accident. He was pitied by a mysterious man who provided him with a leg made of ferrum. It possesses an enchanted crystal. It has to be recharged monthly with mana. Without recharge, the leg is unusable and requires a cane and a limp. Arteen is an excellent liar. This is due to the fact that essentially, his entire existence is one big cover-up. He has learned to imitate the ways of other people, and can effectively persuade and lie to people. As for his skill with tinkering, this comes from his metal leg. He was very young when he was given it. This means it required increasing the size as he grew up. The mysterious stranger never explained how to do this, so he had to work small pieces of ferrum to extend it. After years of doing this as he grew, he became skilled with tools and machinery.  His not wanting to trust anyone is simply from the fact that if the truth got out, he and his mother would meet an acidic demise. Although the ferrum leg requires a regular mana refill, it constantly slowly drains Arteen's mana in order to keep the leg functional due to its construction. Therefore, he cannot perform any powerful magics. Were he to do so, the leg would become temporarily non-functional. He can, however, perform extremely weak magical feats regularly.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Shy, quiet, loyal, kind, bottles up anger, explodes when provoked.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To find his father, to find someone who accepts him for his heritage, and to travel the world.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Skills: Excellent liar, fast reaction time, good at tinkering. Weaknesses: Metal leg, inability to perform powerful magic without disabling said leg, not trusting whatsoever.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Arteen has white/grey hair, and reddish purple eyes, reflecting his heritage. He prefers leather armour and the colour black. He wears a black face mask to conceal some of his face.

Your application is good but I don't know what sort of lore is behind this ferrum limb of yours. Please PM me a forum where this is accepted lore and I'll let it slide. 

 

I feel like you don't know the gravity of being a half elf- Any high elf who would be seen flirting with a dark elf would be branded a impure and likley dumped in acid- the child would also be killed.

You CAN be a half elf, but just know being half High Elf is very dangerous.

 

You have these skills and weaknesses, but only a explanation for one. Why is he a good liar? Why isnt he trusting of people? Maybe explain stations that made him this way in your biography.
