The Sage Natayshi had sought answers, and, in Moongazing, she saw the visage of a white Kharajyr, yet, he was not Morthawl, nor Morthawl's kin. In this search, she found more than she was looking for...

When she allowed the projected image to fade from her sight, it snapped into focus instead. Through it stepped the Kha' upon whom she'd gazed, and he spoke.

He called himself Gazardiel. He knew the names of the Kha' gathered, knew their ancient language, knew even their magic, dueling Natayshi in a bout of flames. He had one warning...

"Yawr Rameethar has gawn on a journey tu anuthawr lawnd. The Clerics seek awt a portawl tu thaw saym land. Yu must nawt gu: eet ees lin'cat, cursed."

Instead of listening, the Kha' attacked. One even swung for the robed figure, yet the blade passed straight through him. With that, a massive pillar of light shot up into the sky, illuminating for miles around. When the light faded, not seconds later, the Kha' was gone, only the smell of ozone remaining, and an electrifying presence in the air.

Who was this strange figure? What are the Clerics up to? Does Thales near its exodus? Chatter amongst the Kharajyr of such events spread to the nearby towns, uncertainty a key factor, but they knew one thing: They did not trust the false Kha', and would assist the Clerics if the opportunity arose.

+1 for l33t Photoshop skills.

Edited to make it look more like drawings.

The Sage begins hammering wooden signs around the settlement, each bearing the same simple message:

"Servants of the Sun have come to lead us astray. Stay true to the path of Metztli."

A note that appears to have been written in a hurry would find its way to the Kharajyr;

"To tha fuzzy big uns.

I hear Gaz spoke ter yous.

Gaz as spoken wit the halflins.

Told us same thing.

Dont leave Thales, he said."

The note is signed;

"Mardo Wigglewobble."

Sahra comes into possession of the note, and replicates it for the sake of everyone seeing it. She places it upon the notice board, before replying herself.

"Mardo,

This is deeply disconcerting. What more do you know of this Gazardiel? Please provide us with any information upon your meeting with him, and Sahra will ensure your information reaches the ears of the Sage and the Tlatlanni.

B'may'ca,"

Shortly after having received this reply, Mardo quickly scrawls a response to it, which he sends to the Kharajyr.

"Tha un that writ to me,

We dont know a lot.

Many halflins dont believe us.

Gaz is mighty. Sent lightning from sky.

Said 'You will face tha enemy of yer ancesters.'

Sometin about tha betrayer."

It is signed once again,

"Mardo Wigglewobble."

Ja'Sahra's brow furrows as she scans over the reply, before sending forth yet another one.

"Mardo,

What did he look like? And were the flames blue?"

Another letter arrives in Sahra's print.

"Mardo,

Mul'ta for your assistance. He appears to be a white Kharajyr, and our experience was that he wielded flames of a blue color. His robes were white with gold patterns. If you recall anything more, let us know.

Sa'vi,"
