President-King Albert could only watch from the command tower the replay of the spacecraft uncloaking to bomb a couple of small homes, drop leaflets, and fly away. That sector of the city was in chaos for almost three hours after, the screaming of the first dying from military in centuries ringing out.

 

"They were serious about Earth..." he says to nobody in particular while looking in disbelief at one of the small flyers. His officials scramble to calm the population, tell them that the government was just as surprised as the citizens.

 

"This wasn't even an attack, it was a message." The families of the dead cry, holding the bodies in their arms.

 

Albert shakes his head, muttering under his breath. Fate had targeted them; a divine purpose, in his eyes. With the exosuit almost completed, the electromagnetic sail almost finished, and the biosphere undergoing major repairs, the first expedition is prepared to go to the nearest moon ((Not actually going yet)).

 

An unencoded message is sent across the Jovian Galaxy.
