Sariants Heed The Call

*The sounds of hard work can be heard as one walks through the Realm of Hanseti, nestled in the mountains of Northhaven. A grand keep stands in contrast to the white snow, next to it a foundry that could forge enough gear to equip two armies, small homes rise from the ground and the fires of industry begin to take ember. Sariants and Hansetian citizens alike work hand in hand, raising a nation of their own creation on the backs of their own will.

*A horn blast cuts through it all, causing the soldiers of the Realm to look up from their business and towards Citadel Stonehallow; The Hochmeister as called forth all members of the Order to return to the keep, matters of the Realm must be discussed.

*The speech hall of the keep fills quickly as the men fall into rank and file, standing rigid, eyes front. From Plebeians, to Sariants, to OrdernMarschalls; All the men and women of the Order stand at the ready as their Hochmeister ascends the steps to the platform of heavy stone before them.

"I have gathered you all here today so that you may voice yourselves to me; Ask questions that must be answered, offer words to the Order as whole. And once we have all discussed all that has been presented, I must deliver some news. So please comrades of the Teutonic Order, speak!"

*Sariant Matthew Claxdon looks over the new recruits that have just been inducted into the Order, he then returns his gaze to the Hochmeister. Having nothing to say, he awaits to see if any issue he has over-looked in his thoughts to be addressed by one of his fellow brothers or sisters.*

"Is there going to be an Arena built Hochmeister?" "How can we Vicars be of use to the nation in this time of peace?" would then quiet himself and wait for the Hochmeister to continue

Plebian Franz asks a question.

"Will we be getting retirement pensions? Also will we be getting a church so I can pray to the Creator?"

Merek looks to the idiotic Plebeian, shaking his head, "We already have a church to which you may use to pray to the Creator if you wish..."

"Is there going to be an Arena built Hochmeister?" "How can we Vicars be of use to the nation in this time of peace?" would then quiet himself and wait for the Hochmeister to continue

"An arena is a splendid idea, brother. As soon as we are able to build enough homes for our civilian population, an arena will quickly follow suit. As for your question about Vicars; Your worth in peace time comes from your ability to ensure you are in top fighting condition always, so that you may heed the call to war when it comes at a moments notice. You also have the responsibility to uplift your brothers to a status of peak warrior skill and you may even earn promotions based on the output of your efforts among your comrades. Vicars and Zealots are the warrior blood of the Order and I look to each of you to ensure the Order is the strongest force in the world."

Darion steps forward and asks "When will we get a medical bay and a laboratory?"

"A medical bay is next on the list of additional wings to be added to the Citadel, a laboratory will be attached to it soon after. I would say expect the first actions to be made in this regard to come in a minimum of an Elven week,"

Dwain Irongut asks "Is der a rrank to be gained in da feild ove farmin?"

"Labor is an extremely valuable contribution to the Order and it would not be right if it were to go unrewarded. To the brothers and sisters who take to the fields, you can earn promotions for your dedication to ensuring that your comrades and even the citizens of Hanseti are well fed. Keep some form of record of your produce and ensure it finds its way to an Adjutant, OrdernMarschall or even myself. This goes for all Sariants assigned to a labor profession. Never assume your contributions are unappreciated, every loyal action will be remembered."

Sariant Medic Edric calls out from the ranks "Will we be campaigning once again soon?"

"You bet your white tabarded arse we are!"
