Dwain enters the throne room. Dwarves from all clans are there. Thanes bicker between themselves. Dwain sighs deeply and carries a book under his arm. He go to the center table and drops the book loud. The dwarven chatter slows and then drops as they eye ball Dwain. He smiles knowing he has their attention. He says nothing and opens the book to a section and leaves the room for the scribe to read.

"Dwarves have always burnt through kings quick then they could chug a barrel of ale. Few Kings have actually done good for the Grand Kingdom and those who have done great good are burnt out from the stress of clan politics and hostilities. No dwarf can no favor his own clan as blood is thicker then water. One time has there been stability without under mining between clans.

In asulon the three major clans, Irongut-Grandaxe-Goldhands, did away with the tyranny of self proclaimed paragon Kjell. His tyranny against clans was too much. The clans left the then 2bf attempt at another capital built by kjell to live in their own holds. The clans prospered and all three holds, though independent, back was other and defend each other from orcish raids and human invasion.

This is what the dwarves need. Self independence from each other telling what must each do. If the clans have the numbers, let them run themselves. The commoner clans can live together or with a noble higher clan. Let this be what the dwarves doand its been shown they can survive."

(Keep all post rp. This is from a perspective. I am not responsible if your butt get hurt. May this be a alternative to us going through kings like crazy)

Vorstag responds

"Your opinion is respected Dwain, very much like I respected your fathers.

I was not present during the times of the "Hold System" thus I can not

vouch for its success, however, I do see a major flaw in this idea.

Since the Ironguts and Grandaxes left, our capital, our hub, has been all

but inhabited. We don't have the numbers to split, we don't have the numbers we used to.

I hate to quote a cliche but two heads are better than one, and in this case the

unification of Dwarves increases our prowess. What I am saying is

that unity betters us completely."

Lilum then smiles and holds onto the tips of his beard with his free hand and tugs on it.
