In this alternate reality though, the Undead are really the protagonists that help us, and the Ascended are the evil antagonists!

 

Also Dwarves are are tall generous people with clean shaven faces, while Elves are short, fat and mate like rabbits, as well as they clear cut and burn forests. Orcs are gentle creatures of a normal complexion who despise bloodshed and fighting. Finally, Humans are few in number and terrible at everything, without any political system or great armies.

 
+1, just one thing, halflings should have tails and speak with an accent, and get hunted for their pumpkins, while Kharajyr are short, merry, and worship a golden pumpkin.

I want to see something reaaally fancy, more detail on the surroundings and nature and space for all kinds of ideas of groups and settlements, but  I guess people still want to keep it close to each other?

I'd like to see decent landscape that isn't just made of cliffs, or ugly mountains! Like valleys, plains, etc!

Just a question - How the **** do you make this? Is it done in voxel or worldpainter/worldmachine? I can never get the **** I make in WM to look as good T.T

I know things...but...I'm not saying anything. There are hints to a lot of the lore in the current world. Also Ageis was destroyed, like end of world annihilation bomb destroyed. Like "Oh god they were right, nukes do rip holes in time space" destroyed...so yea.

 

Also, the maps are made from  world painter by the great bearded elf demon god person himself, and then a ton of work goes into it after to prep the map and flesh it out with more detail which is the development period.

A good world isn't made on worldpainter, worldmachine or any of those. I recommend doing the landmass (just the shape of the continent) and then just going ahead and doing the rest with worldedit, voxel and by hand. That world was made like that, all the nature was made by hand (every single bush, rock, and only some trees were copied, but we still built a lot of them and then pasted them so that you wouldn't even notice it), the details on the mountains also by hand. with the return of aegis we are also returning top role model players like pugsy to give the map a more traditional feeling to it
