-A Bastard's End-

Petrus stood like a mountain against the setting sun, Magnus stood on a balcony attached to the Horen residency. Leaning on the railing of the balcony he watched the sun set, his ancient tabard, from a time no young men were from anymore, fluttered gently in the breeze, sighing heavily he sighed and almost thought he could smell the sea, but it left him before he could decide.

Humming quietly to himself a song of mourning for those gone he sighed, thinking of those he once called friend and family all now gone. He recalled his childhood, his first kill ordered by the Decturem marshal, a wounded Dwarf on the field. Work as a squire, and pilgrimage. Toil and his friend, Frederick, firstborn of Heinrik Carrion, who left too soon without saying adieu.

William, who he thought a father when his own went mad. Corbett, a confidant and friend above all others. They were close, and shield-brothers. Boris, he had never been more loyal to any except Heinrik, whom had taken notice of him early on and paired him up with Frederick.

The Order of Saint Lucien, which he had seen often. The Hightower bastard, whose name is kept unspoken, with whom he conversed and shared much with. He sighed again, the sun was coming low, and Edmund walked out, setting a hand on Magnus's shoulder "Magnus, you can go if you wish. I know you have no desire to be here. There's a horse outside, and a ship at the dock."

Magnus nodded, and shook his hand, his loyal friend Edmund, who was the last of his friend's. Magnus gave a cheeky smile he always gave, steel grey eyes met identical ones. Clasping forearms, the man names Magnus, titled bastard, whoreson, scourge, mad and many others left. As the sun set he left, arriving in the dockyards, and boarding a small ship to go where he would find a peace.

Upon his departure, some notes would be left...

Edmund

You're what the House needs more than ever. Learn from William. He was a good man, but was found wanting. Watch your friends, and watch your family, for we've been known as a den of vipers to which our lifeblood has been spilt for power.

Illastius

We're not friends, but you're an admirable man. Perhaps if fate was different we could have waged war together, and lived life as comrades and cousins should. Deus Magnus.

Cirus

It was wise to abdicate to Edmund. Just don't be like Henry, alright? The family needs unity, nor backstabbing.

Corbett

You're probably the dumbest son of a ***** I've ever met, but you're a damn good drinker and a better swordsman, but I'm still better. Kill some Orcs and plough women in my name, yeah? Also, you almost married Lynette, heh.

Roy Carrion

Probably one of the only Carrion I ever liked. I'd have loved to join Pravets, but I need to find peace, and it isn't here. You're like a young Heinrik, so of course you will do well. Deus Magnus, Godani jest wielki

Jack Rovin

Stop being old. Also, an you speak different from the people you rule and your son and family.

-=-OOC-=-

I had a fun time as Magnus. The disdain obtained from being the son of an insane man was interesting and I enjoyed what I did, however it's time to put him to a rest. Thank you all for the RP.

Isabelle honestly doesn't remember **** about this child, but does note upon hearing more of Magnus that he was probably alive.
