Finally you need to find a shaman teacher which MUST be done in game. This can be done through; forum pm rp, finding a teacher in the goi, or just send a letter to get a meeting place! Understand we want to rp with you but we may not be available all the time. Check out this thread (link to shaman app) those in bold are teachers so get started! You should fill out the application once you find a teacher who agrees to take you as their student.

Each app will be looked at by the High Shaman and his team of shamans who he asks to assist him with the OOC moderation of shamanism.

Additional information to assist your rp:

Due to the changes in magic being no longer followed by a tier system so the shamam (levels/tiers) will be condensed into a 3 tier system. This has already been done in game but I believe there was no real post about it.

These are by far the strongest Shamans who are living in knowledge and force. Having great knowledge and master of at least two types of Shamanism is a must. Orcs who achieve this level of shamanism leave behind a legacy in the years and generations that follow.

-Elder Shaman- T4-5

The teachers of subtypes, hold strong knowledge of there subtype and some knowledge of the other subtypes. Strength on that par of there fellow Shamans and have or will teach at one time.

-Shaman- T1-3

Those who are learning or have completed there training. Mostly young orcs who serve as the base of the shamanistic council. They have done there research and can use the set of shamanism in any shape or form.

I'm glad to see something like this up! I know that it hasn't exactly been easy to get involved with Shamanism in the past, so it's good to see all of the information required in one place. I'd recommend adding the Shamanism Q&A, too, as it's a helpful tool for those who have questions not commonly asked or answered in these threads.
